In 1956, Carl G. Stuart launched Stuart Electric, Inc. The first services he undertook, with the help of one assistant, was connecting circuits for window air conditioning bought from large appliance stores.

In early 1991, Jude G. Raspino, Jr. began discussions with Mr. Stuart, and on April 22nd, 1991, the papers were finalized. Since that time, Jude and his management team have worked diligently to establish Stuart Electric, Inc., now known as Stuart Services, as a leader in the Greater New Orleans service and repair field.

In June 2001, Stuart Electric Inc. became Stuart Services LLC, expanding air conditioning and heating services to our current electrical and home generator divisions. In May 2008, we introduced our Plumbing department, fulfilling our vision of being a one-stop shop for all home repair needs.

Had an emergency electrical situation, to which they responded quickly, but to make the repair they came up with a pricey quote. I had to repair it since it was my adjacent tenant's apartment. I figured at that price it would be done right. I asked to make it completely safe. The old wire burned up due to multiple branch circuit install from the past. Well to fix it, running two 50 foot cables was all Stuart did. They used the same wiring that was part of the old burnt circuit that was in the wall and put both circuits in the one old junction box where the burnt cable had been. When finished, the GFI didn't work on one circuit. I paid the bill but wasn't happy. The salesman called and after a while agreed to replace the GFI to make the circuit safe for my tenant. Guess what - he never did!

Just moved back to the area, and needed someone to come out and figure out a problem with a light that kept shorting out. They charged 370.00 as a ""diagnostic"" fee... That meant that he crawled up into the attic and saw that a squirrel had chewed through some wires. (Took 20 minutes)..He then told me that it would cost another 778.00 to repair it. That it would take 2 men and 3 hours to fix it. Called someone else.. and paid a little over 100.00 to repair it. I would have paid these crooks almost a THOUSAND dollars to repair something that was fixed for a hundred. Please save your money!! The most dishonest, opportunistic company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Here is my experience with this unreliable company. Called them prior to opening and left msg. No one called me back. So called at 8:30am and spoke to Jackie.( pretty sure that was her name). Was told someone could come out between 12 & 4pm, with a call to me 30 minutes prior to arrival. So, I took off of work and proceeded to wait. 3:30, no show and no call. I call the company and am told they are not coming, will have to reschedule tomorrow or pay emergency fee ($200)to see them this evening. After explaining that it is their fault, and I should not incurr an added fee or have to take another day off and hope they show up tomorrow, they adjusted emergency fee to $100. So, I am suppose to come up with an extra $100 to get the service I scheduled and waited for since 8:30am! What kind of customer service is that?! They mess up and I am penalized. If you want lousy customer service and unreliable service, and extra fees then call Stuart.

Well pleased, they are quieter and cool our two bedroom Condo, quicker than old units. It has been hotter lately, and it was a matter of time, that old ones would break done. Will add pictures.

I can't say too much about their services but I did pay 50.00 for a tech to evaluate the problem and tell me he needed to run a diagnostic test for 347.00 and if anything other than minor repairs were needed it would be more. Needless to say we said no thanks and contacted a self employed electrician. He came and "" diagnosed"" and fixed the problem in 35 minutes and charged 50.00 I give Stuart services 1 star for the pretty truck, nice uniform ,the colorful packet that contained my receipt for the 50.00 show up fee, and for Actually showing up.

Outrageously expensive. Service charge alone was $228! They cut holes all over our ceiling to try to find and fix the leak from upstairs. They did not know what they were doing. They told me that we had to take down the chandelier. Estimate to repair was around $1600. Another plumber did the work for about $400, And the chandelier did not need to be taken down! I would not recommend!.

I have nothing good to say about this company. They came out in June to give me an estimate on a job. They were excellent in giving me the estimate showing up on time and it went down hill from there. They said,"" the job would be complete in several days"". Well, that ended up being OCT. 25. They guaranteed I would be happy. Well, the job was never complete, the same problem I had in the beginning is still a problem to this day. Jan 5, 2021. I gave them the chance to make it right after my sewer is backed up in my kitchen, the dishwasher, the bathroom. The house is disgusting and all they can say is its not their fault. If you use this company all I can say is I told you so. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I called Stuart Services and they got to us right away! It wasn't something that needed to be seen immediately, but they got to us quickly and were kind over the phone. I appreciated that they call 30-40 minutes prior to arriving to your house too. Patrick arrived and looked at the issue. He confirmed it wasn't what we were thinking it was, but something much simpler! He gave an estimate and got things fixed that same day.
