Just had some gas pipe work done in our home (just moved here) and Stryker Heating, Cooling & Plumbing performed very well. They are a bit pricey (service call fee plus hourly & costs) but for what you get I don't mind (well, not too much). Wondering why 5 stars and not 4 if a bit pricey? The people. The gentleman who took the initial call was friendly & courteous, and though they were technically booked for the week put us on the ""on call"" list should something open up - and true to his word he called back. Derek, the tech assigned the job, was also very professional and courteous. The job was completed quickly & efficiently by Derek and the work area was cleaned up afterward. All in all everything you could ask for from a contractor. I highly recommend them and will use Stryker for any future work on my home (and if available will request Derek for the job).

Wanted gas logs installed which required new gas line plumbing. They came, gave an estimate and then never followed up. Never gave a start date. I contacted them multiple times and just got the run around. No callbacks, nothing. This has gone on for 4 months. Finally gave up. Completely unprofessional. If you don't want to work, then just say so. Don't string people along for no reason. My current HVAC professional that installed the furnace on the house we bought is retiring and we had hoped to have Stryker take over for maintenance and repairs but that's out the window now too. Very disappointed.

We had a problem with a leaky radiator valve and Stryker sent someone right away to stop the leak even though they were really busy that day. As soon as they had time they sent someone to replace the valve. They were all very nice and attentive and they really took care of us when we needed them. We'd recommend them.

Be careful & make sure you understand that they will charge you a Service Call charge & then also charge you an hourly Labor Charge. They did not let us know that. We were under the impression if the work was being done, then there would be no labor charge also. We needed our kitchen sink snaked & the total bill was $377 for 1 1/2 hours work.

A big ""thank you"" to both Rick, and technician Ray from Stryker for their amazing customer service!! We recently had to have the fan motor on our Trane central A/C unit repaired. After calling several HVAC companies in the area, we were impressed by the outstanding customer service from Stryker, and they came out the next day! We would highly recommend Stryker (and we are very particular!) for their excellent customer service, extensive knowledge, honesty, responsiveness, and professionalism.

WARNING: UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES

I called Stryker to have my central A/C system repaired. Explained that it was not cooling but that it had been recharged earlier this season. They confirmed an appointment for the following afternoon and then called me back about 10 minutes later and said they would not come because I had someone else service the unit. I was in disbelief. I repeated back what I heard and the young lady on the phone said, ""That's right. They told me to tell you that they won't come because you had someone else service the unit"". And I'm a previous customer. I will stay away from them forever and have shared my story with many of my circle of friends.

I called because I had a clogged sink and tried everything. They came to my house within 1/2 of calling. They were very professional and friendly. Ronald was fantastic. He has been a plumber for over 25 years. Very nice guy and he knows his stuff. Reasonably priced. They are now going to be my plumber for everything.
