Their service techs have a sales quota to meet - not good. Unless you get an experienced tech you'll wind up with more problems than you started with.

I called Strittmatter, they were very prompt in replying and have sent their guy very quickly. I was relieved to see the quick action.

However, they confirmed that there was no leak in my HVAC system and charged with 13 lb refrigerant R22 each pond cost 163 dollars.
with in a week the refrigerant leaked and I was so annoyed that my system not working that I called the other company. They found a leak and confirmed that the cost of R22 is 60 dollars per pound .
I have requested Strittmatter for a refund, but no response for over a month.

I will not recommend this company. Be carefull

Price gouging! We had a very nice technician come out to fix our toilet. It's not a regular flapper toilet, it's a Sloan tank within the tank toilet. He gave us an estimate for $550 and said these toilets were very difficult to work on and that he would have to order the part. We sent him on his way. My husband got online and ordered the part for $50. It took 2 days to be delivered and my husband had it fixed in 20 minutes (after watching videos on YouTube)! If you can fix it yourself, do it, OR find a company that's pricing is a bit more reasonable.

When a pipe froze in my Denton home in Feb 2021, I called Strittmatter and was very happy with their service. They called back quickly, and kept in contact over many days while they were working through an incredible number of similar service calls. On a Saturday evening, Chris B called and asked if he could fix our problem. All the Strittmatter plumbers were working crazy schedules. Chris was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. There was no late or weekend service charge, just the standard rate. Great job Chris! Thanks.

Company bills by the part and not by the hour. Had leaks on two outdoor faucets and needed the washing machine hot and cold valves replaced. Received 3 separate charges including the replacement of a small washer on one faucet for $99. Tech stated that he wasn't sure it had fixed the problem but I could call them back out and they were only charge me the difference between the $99 and the part replacement cost. Offered a 25% discount if I would join the Family Savings Club Plan which cost $34 per month. The amount charged was well beyond what should have been charged for a 45 minute job.

I only give these guys an OK because they actually did good work. My issue is the pricing. I had 2 outdoor faucets replaced and after they left I decided to check on the cost of the part as the price of $300 for each replacement seemed high. The part I found that was similar only around $20. assuming that they use some type of super part I gave it $40. they only spent 30 minutes here and charged me $300 for each faucet. I suggest you find another plumber that charges by the hour.

I've had plumbing, A/C and most recently heating issues they've resolved quickly and expertly. I'm a single momma on a budget and their pricing is fair and reasonable. They ALWAYS explain what they are doing and why. I love their hours - woke up and house was Texas cold at 62 degrees (winter temp not a delightful summer temp)- and their service answered my call at 7a and the scheduler called me back in 20 minutes to set up an appointment for the next hour. When I had plumbing issues, and kept adding a few more things to look at while the tech was at my house, he patiently worked through them all. Highly recommend!

First time they came I had a good technician. This time it was not a good experience. I had electrical issues with the furnace. The technician that came instead of troubleshooting that issue spent 20 mins telling me everything that that's wrong with the unit. He said the unit was not installed with enough returns and also the heat exchanger has a crack in it. He said this is causing it to leak carbon monoxide and it could potentially kill us which is why he has to condemn the unit. He then proceeds to disable the unit thus leaving us without heat in the freezing weather. He then quotes me around $9,500 to replace the entire unit. I was polite and told him thank you for your opinion and I'll let him know what I decide and sent him on his way. I immediately call a second HVAC company "Record Heating and Air" from Lake Dallas and they take a look at it and said it's just a simple sensor that needs to be replaced. I also placed a carbon monoxide detector right next to the unit and it has not detected any dangerous levels of carbon monoxide....

I had Strittmatter out to repair my air conditioning last week. The technician arrived and tried to repair the trouble before informing me that I needed to spend $11,000 dollars to replace the entire heat and air conditioning system. He said I could get a second opinion but that he had been in the business for a very long time and that other companies would provide the same finding. I paid him the $79 service fee and he left without fixing my service or even putting the thermostat that he'd removed back on the wall. I did call another company and they did fix the trouble and delivered scorched parts that suggest his efforts might actually have made the trouble worse rather than better. In the end my AC was repaired for under $500 and is working great! I would recommend that you avoid any company or technician that only seems interested in selling new equipment and the commissions that might make off the sale. I don't know how Strittmatter got such good ratings but this technician's behavior means that I will never recommend them to anyone!

Let me start this off by saying that this place either is a rip off or just incredibly expensive. We called for a consultation on our water heater, when two guys came in , smelling like alcohol and hang over, that stood up like not professionals and couldn't even say hello. Next they went up to the attic looked for about 5 minutes and then charged us $79 for a "consultation". Excuse me, what did they do for a $79??? Then they gave us super expensive quote that we could not believe the prices. Then we decided to get a second opinion , because strittmatters guys were NOT trustworthy. So we called another company and they told us different things about our water heater, and we decided to go with another company who fixed everything for a reasonable price. Not a very good experience with strittmatters.
