I recently found myself in a need of a plumber. Our water heater wouldn't heat up anymore. Contacted Stride and within a few hours they were at the house working on the heater. Stride stuck to the quoted price and even came in under the estimate. Strides quote was the same as another company on YELP. Stride did the routine maintenance and it's back up and running. I called Chris at Stride Plumbing and Drains at 3 PM on a Monday to replace a drain and overflow on my bathtub. He was finishing up another job and asked me to text him my information and he would call when he was on his way. This was after I called one of the big Plumbing companies in the area on Saturday and made an appointment for Monday around 12:30 PM. I waited and did not hear so I called a couple of times between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. That big company had other priorities and I could see having to take off another day from work because they just don't care about the customer!! So I cancelled the big company because Chris was interested in helping my situation now, the only shower in the house and it was not working. Chris called to let me know he was on his way around 4 PM and from the pictures I sent he would check it out today but may need to return tomorrow to complete because of the difficulty of the job. He got to the root of the problem very fast and did the repair all in the same visit. Most important he made me (the customer) feel like he cared about my situation enough to get the job done!!. Excellent customer service and communication!! Very knowledgeable, honest and reasonable pricing!! I now have a new plumber and he comes very highly recommended by me.

Chris took my call and listened to my concerns without rushing to get me off the phone, then he gave me a time frame and called before coming. Very prompt and professional and did not try to up sale me on anything. He even took time to look at and discuss some other issues. I will be using him for all my future plumbing needs.

Chris was not the cheapest but...he was one of the first to respond to my late night quote request and was at my house the time he promised the next day to replace a gas valve and did good quick work. Most of the other plumbers I hit up for quotes didn't get back to me for 15+ hrs. Except for Oscar over at plumb loco who I'd also call again.
Chris also gave very good advice when it comes to future gas leaks and what to do and more importantly, not to do.

WOW! I can't say enough good things about Stride Plumbing and Drains. But, mostly, Chris himself. As with most people without a regular plumber, I started a YELP search on Saturday. Chris responded immediately and we set-up an appointment for Monday. He completed my requested work and even found some additional things that needed repaired. He returned the next day and completed those repairs. Although he gave me a quote, he came in significantly under that amount. I would recommend Stride Plumbing and Drains without any reservations.

We called on a Saturday afternoon with a clogged kitchen sink. After trying to solve it ourselves we figured out we'd need professional and Chris answered between jobs to say he could come the next morning. He immediately gave a quote over the phone (very reasonable compared to our previous plumber) and told us we could save money if we were willing to wait until Monday but since that didn't work for us he set an appt for Sunday morning.

Come Sunday morning, Chris called and texted to make sure we still needed him to come out and arrived within 20 min of appt time after we confirmed. He solved the issue within about 20 min, cleaned up the work site and was totally professional about everything. He answered all of our questions and made recommendations to keep our pipes in good shape. He's our go-to plumber now!

I had my shower spout break so I looked Stride up on Yelp. Chris took my call wanting pics of my shower to match the replacement parts as close as he could. My big home.was built in 1960 so it needs TLC.
Upon my return from Kaiser with a diagnosis of possible cancer, Chris showed up with parts and repaired my problem and another I had with that shower. Showed him a second bathroom where I had drain issues and he fixed that as well. Before he left he passed along words of encouragement. I was just tickled to have my shower back in working order. But I found a keeper of a plumber for the next time.

Chris gave a quote for installing a hose bib replacement for a leaky faucet in the yard that has been leaking for the last 3-years. He quickly scheduled a time and showed up promptly. He gave a time frame on how long he'll need the water shut, and after gathering his equipments, he was in and out of the house, not to mention, the price was lower than what he had initially quoted us for! To guarantee his work, he told us to call him back if there's any issues. Good guy! Will definitely call him again for any home plumbing issues, and so should you!!!
