I used the company as my home warranty sent them over. They are not honest about the issue of the water heater as it only had condensation issue. Then they had my home warranty ordered a brand new water heater which is not CA compliant and permitted. They brought the brand new water heater and tried to setup but the technician could not get the machine powered up and they made me call the manufacturer's plumbing company to fix the false alarm of manufacturer's defeat. At the end, the manufacturer's plumbing company came and found out the issues were caused by improper installation and used wrong old parts to connect the new water heater; and the company took original parts came with the water heater away. I even have to spend money to the other plumbing company to fix their mistakes. My home warranty tried to send them back but the owner never calls back. We have no water since 7/29/2022, and the other plumbing company order taken away parts for the new water. Don't use this company as owner is not really plumber.

I have never put any review on yelp. I don't like to put any negative reviews on someone else business. But I am upset and feel so bad after I was treated very rudely by the lady who answered in this company. I had a such a bad experience calling Street Plumbing and Rooter!

I was assigned to Street Plumbing and Rooter by my HPP. They scheduled the service on today from 10-12:00pm. I waited till 12:10pm, nobody showed up. This is 4th day not being able to use the kitchen sink. I just want to make sure they are coming today. I called at 408-496-1155. The lady who answered me saying my schedule has changed to 11-1pm without notice which is still OK. I just say one more word to make sure they are coming today since I have not been using kitchen sink for 4 days. She was not listening and rush to say something AND shouting at me so loudly. I have to hung up her to stop her shouting. I called back at the same number. Same person answered me and she was accusing me rude. She even threatened me that she will stop service me. I wanted to talk to her manager. She said she is the manager. There is no way communicating with this lady. She is so crazy.

I don't know how I was rude. She is truly rude. I don't know how she can be at any customer service business.

I'm really appalled at the terrible service from this company. It starts with a lady who answers the phone being rude , obnoxious and refusing to listen. I called this company yesterday following a claim at my home owners insurance to confirm an appointment for my property. I attempted to provide additional troubleshooting information for the problem with my water heater. She refused point blank and with attitude to take down any information stating that I should simply tell this to the technician who comes.

I then tell her if I can call him and she says no, the only handle dispatch and I will get a text ahead of when the technician arrives. Refuses to take any more feedback or information and hangs up.

Today, no text is sent, the technician arrives, barely looks at the heater. Didn't test it (it makes a god awful noise as it heats up the water) and leaves saying he'll provide the homeowners insurance his ""assessment"".

I call back irritated that I wasn't given a heads up as to when he will arrive (I don't live at the property) and my tenant hosted him . Only to face the same rude lady on the phone who won't listen, yells back when I told her she's dealing with an irritated customer and hangs up on me after telling me to just call my home owners insurance.

Caveat Emptor....Avoid this company at all costs. It's a wonder they have even have the stars they have for their incredibly poor service.

My home warranty ulilizes Street Plumbing. I would not recommend Street Plumbing to anyone. 7/10 water heater went out and processed claim. Called on Street Plumbing 7/10 and 7/11. Appt scheduled for Wed 7/13. Scheduling representative was complaining about how many orders they have and this was the best date. Tech came out as planned ( no issue with Tech). He stated the part was under warranty would place order that day and I should have the part delivered directly to my home on Friday Saturday latest and they would come out to install. Apparently the part never got ordered and I had to call them several times - 1st call Friday then Monday again. The scheduling representative basically stated she had no reference for the part being ordered and it was my problem. Said she would contact the Tech and call me back that day 7/18. No call back. Part arrived Wednesday, July 20 at 3:28 P.M. Called and was placed on hold with automated call back option. No call back. Called again at 4:45pm after a hold the system disconnected me. I called back and left a message letting them know I received the part and need to schedule repair as I have been out of hot water since 7/10. No call back 7/21 am so I called again and waited on the line. The same scheduling representative answered after 15 min wait. She again was complaining and rude about the orders she is processing and told me the best is next Tuesday 7/26. I asked if she could pull this in as I have been leaving messages since yesterday and she said that they do no get to the messages and she is already booked for Friday and just finished booking Monday. Again very obnoxious attitude with me and said do I want the appointment or not. To the owner of Street Plumbing: I would suggest that your 1st customer experience is with your scheduling representative and possible referrals can come from the customer service provided. A hard look at this aspect of your business is necessary.

I had a sewer issue and First American Home warrant assigned this business to me. It was an emergency since the entire house was affected (no bathrooms usable). The initial report was during working hours. Even then they did not contact me. I tried several times to call them, but they never picked up and it always went to voicemail. Left voicemail, but they never responded. Called First American and reported the lack of response. They tried, but did not get through.

No call the next day either. Finally, I looked up another business on Yelp and got the problem addressed promptly. After looking at other Yelp reviews for this business, perhaps it was good that they did not come.

Don't bother calling them.

This company is complete crap. AHS only contracts with them in my area and I am going to cancel AHS because of it.

I have had at least 3 pluming issues where these guys were assigned and each one was a time-consuming and horrible experience. The front office lady does not answer the phone or return calls. When I do talk to her she can't answer any questions and is not helpful. The plumbers have absolutely no idea what they are doing and can never fix anything on the spot. I literally had the same junior guy come out a few times and basically stare at the wall. Seems like he has no qualifications at all. .... I could probably do more on my own. When I am told a part needs to be ordered the parts are not ordered and the guys never show up. Last time they told me I needed to order my own part but told me the wrong part. They came back out and didn't fix anything and LIED and told the home warranty company they completed the job!!!! 6 weeks later my leak still isn't fixed.

These guys do not seem to care if they suck or about all the crappy 1-star reviews because AHS is paying them no matter what apparently. No demonstration of work ethic or pride in their company at all.

If you are not assigned though home warranty- STAY AWAY from this company! If you are using AHS good luck!!

Got them to come back and take a look and fix the rust problem, at no charge. Turns out it was a bent rubber washer in the flex valve, causing dissimilar metal valves to be in contact to rust.

Given the other similar reviews of problems encountered, wonder if this is coincidental - they just have bad luck in the plumbing job, or they happen to carry bad parts (with bent washers in the flex valves to begin with), or they plumbing work is not that great that it often causes bent washers, etc.?

Also, wanted to note that since discovery of the problem that is now fixed, my home warranty expired, but contacting them for the fix, still I get email notification from the warranty company - probably because I'm in the system & they used that to manage accounts/customers. I contacted them directly / outside of the home warranty problem. It was nice they honored their workmanship to fix the problem at no charge.

After a few years again my home warranty dispatched to this company. I had little expectations, but despite waiting for the weekend finally when I connected to them they were extremely rude blaming I am trying to play the system to get the request serviced the same day. Of course I have waited the whole weekend without water in the kitchen and would like service ASAP! Then she got really mad and said she won't service and I should contact my home warranty.I did, and in a way I am glad I got routed to another company. Upto me I would never ever pick this company or recommend it to anyone!

Rude, uncouth and totally customer unfriendly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have had such a terrible experience with the person who answers the phone and their service is so bad that a faucet they installed less than 3 months ago (under a warranty) is NOW loose and the lady accuses me (the customer) that I am messing with the faucet. I really hope she thinks about her words and understand that a customer has better things to do than call a plumber to come fix faucets that they installed in a faulty manner. I pressed her and the only reason she cannot come out is because she lost money on a previous installation of a faulty faucet that they installed and hence some how its the customers fault now. It took me forever to get them to even come in and replace the faucet. I'm also going to write to the warranty company to take them out of the preferred list of vendors for warranty work.

I would give 0 stars if possible. We were assigned by American Home Shield and they did not send anyone out for 3 days despite us saying it was an emergency. The guy arrived and stayed no more than 5 minutes and told us he needed to get a larger tool after just HEARING what we explained. He did NO inspection. He said he would call us back to schedule a follow up. After reading the other reviews, I had a sinking suspicion this would not happen. I called the home warranty and consistent with everyone else, this ""technician"" told them a whole diagnosis that he did not tell us, which was not only incorrect (after consulting with a different plumber) but he didn't even inspect the situation so we're not sure how he came to this diagnosis. He closed the order and we were charged despite him doing nothing. Not sure how this business is still around...definitely seems like fraud.
