I hired street plumbing & rooter to replace a bathroom faucet. It didn't go as well as I had expected.

The first time the plumber came to look at the problem, and determined that the faucet would need to be replaced. This was fine by me., not a problem.

A week later, he came over again and tried to take out the old faucet, but it was stuck. So he told me that he would need to come back with power tools to cut off the old faucet. This was fine by me again, not a problem.

The problem though is that a few hours after he left, there's a puddle of water on the bathroom floor. I checked around and was not sure where the water came from, so I just wiped it off. A few hours later, there's another puddle of water in a different place on the bathroom floor, so I wiped it off again. A few hours later, a 3rd one at a 3rd place......to make a long story short, there's a leak somewhere and this went on for about a week. During this time I had to use bath towels to soak up the water, and later a bucket to collect the water. During this week, I called them 3 times and left 3 messages. Nobody ever called me back.

Before long, another week passed. On the 4th time, I was lucky to have my call answered. The plumber came over the next day, cut off the old faucet and replaced it with a new one. This part was all good,.

Minus 2 stars for the water leak problem.

They were assigned by our home warranty to replace our water heater. When I called them to give an earlier appointments, the lady on the phone started shouting and throwing tantrums and said all sort of bad things to me. When I asked her to give the phone to her boos, she screamed at me and hung up the phone. They are not even worth a single star.

We were introduced to the company via our home warranty company. Long story short the water heater was fixed and the technician was excellent. My issue is with the woman who handles the calls/customer service. She is by far the absolute rudest customer service representative I've ever spoken to. She interrupts you, doesn't care about providing an ounce of customer service, and is just all around unprofessional. My assumption is that she must be some sort of family member/owner because no business in their right mind would tolerate that level of unprofessionalism. And by the sound of these reviews this was not a fluke as it sounds to be a common occurrence. When As I attempted to ask her for an estimate to cover a portion of the work that was not covered by warranty she cut me off multiple times and I felt like I couldn't get a word in. I told her that I understood she was busy as am I and have been patiently waiting for the repairs to be completed since January. She said I was being rude and home warranty does not allow that and literally hung up on me. I was taken back because I know I was definitely not out of line and was simply asking for procedural information/estimate. I understood the part was discontinued and I'd have to be paid out etc. But I couldn't get simple questions answered because this incompetent customer service representative was too unphased by my needs/questions to give me the proper time.
Her work ethic is disgusting and I do not even think any form of coaching could correct her poor behavior towards others. In summary, the majority of the work was completed and the field staff/technician was awesome BUT the customer service representative who answers the phone has to go...

He came for a service paid by the insurance (drain stoppage) and he couldn't leave fast enough. He was clearly looking for an excuse not to do the job (they would get the service call money regardless). He found the reason, a small piece of plastic, smaller than a pea, laying on the surface and clearly not blocking water. He determined that the insurance (First American) was not going to pay them enough for the job and left. He was very busy and left in a hurry. He reported to First American that there was a ""foreign object"" in the drain and therefore denied the service. I have paid the insurance for a service but, thanks to Street Plumbing & Rooter, they found the excuse not to cover it.

ZERO STARS if possible:
I made a case with my home warranty for an interior water leak. AHS is the home warranty and they assigned this plumbing company to fix. The plumber came and took a look at the situation and left saying that he will put in a work order for around 3 hours to fix the problem. This conversation took place on Feb. 3rd, 2022. On Feb. 6th he called me again saying that he might need to buy some plastic to cover the work area which will not be covered by the AHS and it might cost $30 or so. I told him that I will take care of that. After that there was no follow up from the company to make an appointment with me and suddenly the case got closed in AHS as completed.

Surprised, I reopened the case with AHS and unfortunately got assigned with the same company again on Feb. 15th. Their scheduler called me on Feb. 16th to offer that the plumber can come in on Feb. 17th. I tried to ask her why the previous service order got closed and she wasn't ready to answer any of my questions.

It's like utter disrespect to the customer out of natural rudeness that she said whether I want the appointment to be scheduled or not.

I can't understand why AHS is using this kind of hopelessly bad plumbing company to address such important issues as plumbing, which can cause profound damage to a house if not addressed in a timely fashion.

I am going to update this review after getting the work order completed on my experience with how the whole thing went.

In the meantime, I called AHS to file a complain regarding the rudeness of the scheduler.

I guess it really depends on who is the technician. I got lucky to have Joel from Street Plumbing & Rooter to take care of my warranty service claim. One of my bathroom's shower can't get hot water. My warranty company has sent two other technicians to come check it out. Both of them said the cartridge is broken and said need to order it and never came back. I was so frustrated so I called another plumber who has no association with my warranty, and still he can't fix it. Finally, my warranty service sent Joel over and he fixed it right away without the need to order any new part!! He said it's some cold and hot water balancing thing got stuck inside, so all he had to do is unstuck it and cleaned it. Thank you, Joel!

Most horrible customer service of all time.

I called to get the kitchen sink clogging problem checked, their technician fixed that problem. We also asked him to take a look at the shower room where water is flowing slow, he opened it, did something and left our house. That night we found he had clogged the shower room so we called back the customer service. We got yelled at saying it's not their problem to fix and got hung up. Wow.
