Is it possible to give -ve stars, then I will gladly do it.
They were recommended to me via First American Home warranty. I am so disppointed with their services. Terrible service, rude contractor. A two day job was left incomplete. The contractor did not show up or call me on the second day.

I had an ordinary plumbing job since my shower was clogged. I called my warranty company and they sent this plumber my way. I was curious so I checked the reviews here and noticed all the bad reviews. I was hesitant to say No so the guy came out and arrived. He went over side and after a minute came knocking and said he found big roots under the pipe. I was like how do you know you didn't even run at scope or even run the wire in.
He left without any explanation. Now I am out $$$. Bunch thieves. Called up a great reputable plumber on my own and came by next day and resolved the issue. Was just a clog near the shower.
Bunch thieves stay away.

This is one of the most incompetent professionals I have dealt with. To call them professional in fact would be stretching the truth.
I was not having hot water in my home so my home warranty service recommended them to me. They sent a technician called Rowland to my place. The guy just walked around twiddled with the water heater the first time for 10 minutes and went home after collecting $65 from me. I complained to the home warranty service and then we did a recall. They chose street plumbing again. Despite my pointing out that we wanted a different technician sent out they sent the same technician out claiming he was the most senior of the lot. After the job he has done I am really curious how competent their junior technicians are.
The second visit he claimed that some mesh needed to be cleared in the water heater. Spent whole of 5 minutes cleaning it and re-installing it. After that I walked him to the faucets and showed him that I was not getting hot water. He insisted that we needed to wait for 30 minutes before the water becomes hot and that he could not wait. Given the fact that this was his second trip I requested/persuaded him to stay a little longer. He stayed for a total of 20-25 minutes pretending to be on edge. After 20-25 minutes I showed him that water in the shower was still lukewarm as compared to the faucet in the kitchen sink which was very hot. The water heater at this point was turned to maximum.
He then went into selling me on a tankless water heater rather than giving me a reasoned answer on why the water was still cold in one place but not in the other.
One thing to call out here is he never checked any pipes to see what the root cause for this phenomenon was. He was throwing out random suggestions at this point.
The reason for writing out this review was to add this company's name to the blacklist of as many homeowners out there so that they can be saved the time and expense to re-discover my pain.

Really really unpleasant experience with this company already & we have yet to actually get our situation / service request complete.
Similar to other reviews, this company was referred to us through our Home Warranty Insurance. I called this company to make an appt after we got the contractor's information. Upon my call they said our Home Warranty Insurance has yet to submit the claim so they cannot make an appt. Later we learned that they already had the claim (left a voicemail to a different phone number trying to schedule the appt which was time-stamped as prior to us calling them back). After realizing this, I called & left a VM to schedule an appt - did not get a phone call back for 4 business days.
After confirming a said date & time (8am appt) I got a VM at 4:45p the night prior to the appt that they had to move my appt to a different time (9a) and when I tried to call back to push to do 8am, they had already left the office, so I had no choice.
Morning off - I waited... waited and at 9:15 I was already annoyed because I was reschedule without my consent, so I called the office to see where the service person was coming. They then had the service guy call me back telling me that he was stuck in Cupertino (I live in South San Jose) and the job was taking longer because he got there late because of traffic in the morning. His estimate time to be at my condo was now 10:45. I was annoyed and cxl'd. I refuse to make an appt back with them based on unprofessional their service and office organization is.
I have requested for a new service company with my insurance - so hopefully I dont ever have to deal with this company.

Referred by our home warranty company, they didn't call us within one business day as required.
Called them and booked an appointment but they never showed up. Called their office and they said there was a mix up and we were never scheduled, They said someone would be sent and gave us another 2 hour window later in the day.
Again no one showed up and no phone call to say they would be late or could not make it.
Called our insurance company and got another firm assigned.
So glad! After seeing reviews here on their screwups doing the work we are thinking we got off easy!

I wish to give a negtive star.
STAY AWAY FROM STREET PLUMBING!
STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN HOME SHIELD.
What they can do is just do a quick inspection and get the $100 elvaluation fee, find some reason to deny your clam, and never want to do any real work.

Amer. home shield sent out street plumbing on 8/19/2014 to fix a leaky shower. They showed up the next Tuesday and said without much examination and not listening to a word they did not have a part. I told them it needed new valves and they said only handles. But they would have to order them. What plumber does not have handles with them? So they did not call and they did not make an appointment for a second trip. I called them and got no reply so I called american home and they called them and got a reply. Street said they did not have the part but it would be in the following Wednesday. however it showed up a day early. The guy showed up 20 minutes early and I had to run to get home when I saw his truck. Then he came in and hammered the handles on. Yes hammered, now there is a brass ring that fits against the tile and a chrome handle. One handle facing south and one facing south east. Yes it is getting worse. So now the mess is still leaking and they need valves and stems like I told them in the beginning and the hot water still leaks. They said they would call me and make an appointment. They never have. So on the 30 of August I turned on the hot leaky water and tried to turn on the cold but the cold would not turn on. No doubt because the guy hammered on the faucets. So on the 31. I called american and they wanted to send out street plumbing. I said no because of this and on my rental they left my renter with the no water in his sink for weeks. With the same lame excuse they had to order the parts, yes handles. I told them there was an orchard supply right around the corner. American home shield needs to dump them and street plumbing needs to shut down. So now I am told I need to pay both street plumbing and the new plumber a $75 fee each. Why should I have to pay street anything, they broke more than was wrong in the first place. If I am charged both I will seek a new home protection service for my rentals and myself. Debbie

Wish I can give zero star.
I have a leak in the bathroom and First American Home warranty send over Street Plumbing. The plumber try to convince me to change the pipe through out the house. And threaten my tenant. But I can't trust him becuse he couldn't fix the problem after so many visits. And he has no trouble shooting skill at all. He just did something in the bathroom and claim it is fixed without really checking if it is really fixed! I am so disappointed with the service!

STAY AWAY FROM STREET PLUMBING!!! And based on our recent experience, STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN HOME SHIELD home warranty company.
Now reading the other reviews, I see our bad experience is not unique. In summary: we had a plumbing emergency. Street was assigned by our home warranty company, American Home Shield, and 1) messed up the job requiring three trips instead of one, 2) did unnecessary and DISALLOWED work (including moving our car and personal items in our garage!) to increase the bill, and 3) made up a ridiculous, farcical ""cause"" that rendered AHS off the hook for the insurance coverage.
I have attempted to discuss this issue with the owner of Street Plumbing, Mark Street, but after a lengthy description of the issue with the woman who answered the phone at Street Plumbing (AHS said that would have been Mark Street's wife). I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RETURN CALL AFTER TWO WEEKS.
We later learned (from AHS) that Street Plumbing acts as the insurance company's ""adjuster"" as well as repair company - clearly a HUGE conflict of interest. Street gets lots of business from insurers and home warranty companies - presumably because they can be relied upon to find ""cause"" saves those companies money!
Once our issue is resolved I will update this review with the details.

Street was an American Home Shield vendor. Rolando came out twice, once for a detached pipe spilling water and once for a blockage on a SAT. Rolando was helpful and courteous. I also found Street to be very good with confirmation and follow up, which is not always the case.
