Totally honest and reasonably priced. Ray has helped me with a couple of different plumbing issues. One was an emergency..during that super cold winter when the temp went down to zero..I had issues with pipes that I didn't even know EXISTED behind the wall of my mudroom freezing. Water was entering my basement walls..it was a mess. He came as soon as he could. Cut into the wall and fixed the pipe. Explained that there was a pipe behind the wall for a washer/dryer--the previous owner never documented this or explained it to me (it's a very strange, rear-of-the-house mudroom that was an add-on.)

For the second visit, I had a sewage back up. He came and diagnosed it, and fixed it by cleaning up the sewer line under the street. Apparently, my home piping is pretty sturdy and modern, but the pipes under the street are old and thin. So I have to be careful what gets flushed down my toilet. Yet another thing the prior owner didn't inform me of, and I had to learn at a cost to paying Ray from Streamline to fix. At least he was reasonable!

I will definitely hire him again. In fact, I'm planning to contact him this weekend about a new water heater.

Would strongly recommend that you DO NOT attempt to use Streamline Drain Cleaning & Plumbing. I needed to plumber to take a look at something at my rental property in East Falls, and I made the mistake of buying a voucher via Yelp from this company. After a dozen unreturned phone calls over a six-week span, I finally gave up. I'm furious about spending money on the voucher - I feel scammed. Go elsewhere for a faster response and better overall customer experience.

Called in the morning around 10 am. Ray was responsive and did exactly what we agreed to. He was on time, helpful, and we completed the work by 12:45 pm.

Just an overall wonderful service.

Returned my call with a text within an hour, and set up an appointment for two days later to address a non-emergent clogged pipe.

Arrived PROMPTLY at the time we agreed, was friendly with my dog and cats, and was careful to not track mud or dirt through the house. Took care of the problem quickly and efficiently, and even highlighted other areas of improvement that were more expensive but could be considered in the future given the age of my house (but in no way was pushing for them to be done).

In an out in under 45 minutes, reasonable price, and multiple payment options (including Venmo)! Would highly recommend!

Just had great service today from Stream-line.

Had called a different plumber to come out first and fix the issue, we thought it was a pipe break or leak inside the house, but he diagnosed it as a blockage in the main sewer line out. Plumber 1 was unable to clear the block from the inside to the street and did not have the tools to go from the street up to the house.

I found Stream-line, they answered after 2 rings, gave me a window same day a few hours later. They were able to show up earlier and get to work right away. Explaining the issues as we went, Stream-line was able to clear the breakage from the street into the house and I saw, heard, and tested without any further issues. He also made sure to check from the street trap to the main sewer and to confirm no issues there. Very friendly and fast working, fair price.

I called this business because the first plumber I called was unable to unblock my sewer line and told me that the line was collapsed and in need of a total replacement that would cost me more than $10,000.

They arrived no later than 20 minutes after our conversation, and took the extra effort to go into the basement with heavy equipment and promptly unblocked the unblockable. I will use this service again!

I had a pipe valve burst behind my shower and it was leaking for several hours. I had it repaired but it uncovered/caused two additional leaks in my house, one of which made my bathroom unusable. I asked Ray to come out and give me a quote for some major work including replacing my sewer drain pipe from my second floor to the basement. He gave me a great quote and some advice for what needed to be done. I could tell that he was an expert at the work that needed to be done so I hired him to complete the work. He did an amazing job and I'll be calling him for any future plumbing work that is needed!!

Called Ray on Labor day evening in a bit of panic as water poured into our basement from a large pipe. Ray answered the phone - wasn't even expecting that on a holiday and was at our house in 30 minutes. Cleared the house trap outside causing the backup, gave us a plumbing 101 class and was on his way home in no time flat. So happy and while I hope we don't need a plumber again, if we do our first call will be to Streamline.
