They know how to deal with temperamental ac units. Mine threw a tantrum when it's was unbearably hot and humid and had it going within an hour. They check everything from Freon charge to wiring and checked the furnace to make sure that was good to go before they left. Good place to call.

I had this business install 2 furnaces for me. The first malfunctioned and caused my CO2 detector to go off in the middle of the night. I switched to an electrical furnace which they installed after much grumbling. As they left they admitted they were not sure how to configure it or it's settings. After 6 months of trying to figure out the manual they left us, which is made for trained electricians to understand and much searching on the internet for help figuring it out, we are calling in another electrical service for help at added expense. AVOID this business at all costs. All of our friends and family certainly are avoiding them.

Thought our furnace condenser unit was dropping water on the utility room floor and called Strang--they quickly realized the problem was our water heater. Fortunately they had one in stock, installed it the next morning and a tech will make a stop on the way home with a new water filter. Easy, fast and competitive. And friendly guys to boot.

When you live in a rural area like ours, you are sometimes waiting a while for service, or for a unit to come into stock for any number of appliance or mechanical needs. Very pleased.

I called late morning to say we had a clogged sewer pipe in our basement and had family visiting so we really needed someone to come out the same day. The person I spoke with said she would call as soon as she could and within a couple of hours two plumbers arrived with the right equipment, took care of the problem and even wiped their footprints off the floor as they were leaving. I was very impressed with the company and the employees.

I do t believe it is the same ownership anymore from yrs ago when they built the company. They are decent plumbers but no longer trustworthy. Compare prices and make sure everything is in writing ahead of time. Below par customer service!!!

After to talking to many people about who I should have do some electrical work, Strang was one of the mentioned local businesses. I'm pretty bummed out to say that I never got to experience their customer service because I never got a cal back.
I called, and was told that I would hear back at the end of the day. I didn't but waited until the following day. Then, when I called back, the woman acted very annoyed with me and said that they obviously hadn't gotten around to it. I still haven't heard back and its been at least two weeks. So disappointing.
