Straight Up Plumbing (formally Gattuso Plumbing) is a wonderful family-owned business serving mainly the Pine Bush area, including Middletown, Newburgh, and others. I just recently had them put in a new water tank and replace a sink p-trap and trap arm that were in dire need of repair.

Amy, who works in the office and takes the calls, is always friendly, professional and courteous.

Will was on time, diligent and did a neat, excellent job. I had to give them a ring a day later because one of the pipes drawing water into the home had become slightly dislodged. Will came right out on moment's notice (on a weekend morning when the office is usually closed, no less) to tighten up the pipe connector.

I'm happy with their focus on good customer service, even at inconvenient times. Of course, I will give them my future business, as well as speak well of them to others. Great family, great service.

A friend of mine had no water and I called Straight Up who showed up on time. Will , the technician, found the problem right away. He offered to follow up with other services for the water system. He texted let us know when he was on his way. All in all it was a good experience. I would recommend them and call them if I ever had a problem.

I needed a leak fixed in a pipe under the kitchen sink. It was done quickly, professionally, and the plumber was extrememly friendly and helpful. I asked a lot of questions because I had been trying to solve the problem myself and caused the leak to get worse. He was really helpful.

Great plumbing service for one big reason - they actually will call/email you back. We live in Wurtsboro, and I cannot keep track anymore of all the service providers who either don't call a customer back, or will make an appointment for service and then never show up. The crew with Gattuso (soon to have a name change to Straight Up Plumbing) are all so easy to work with as is Amy in the office. When they set up an appointment, they are there on time and ready to work. No hidden charges added to quotes, no pressure to upsell anything, and they keep customers informed every step of the process. We had some larger plumbing companies give us quotes, and their prices were four times what Gattuso/Straight Up quoted. Exact same work, exact same parts, insanely higher price. They also answer any questions a customer regarding their plumbing or heating. Our home is older (built in 1960 with an addition in 1992) that has seriously crazy plumbing which doesn't make any plumbing job easy. Still, the guys with Gattuso roll with the punches and get the job done. Oh, AND they also clean up everything when the job is done. No mess left for the homeowner. Really happy with their work and customer service, and have no reservations about using them again in the future.

I called this company yesterday to make an appointment for a leaking kitchen pipe. They were going to send someone out same day! I wasn't available but scheduled for today. Will, the plumber called me 15 minutes before my appointment to tell me he was on his way. He looked at the leaky pipe, told me it was no problem and began replacing the pipe. He didn't make a mess, he was fast, efficient and reasonably priced. He completed the job in one hour and I was back drinking my tea without worry. I was initially referred to a different company by friends but when I called them, the listed number was only a fax number. I attempted to reach out on Facebook and they never answered me, so I gave this job to a more available company. I would definitely use then in the future. Will was so good! Had a hot water tank issue and had to replace a new tank. On time... on point and did all by himself. Dont waste time on others if you need it fixed or replaced right away!

Will was fantastic and professional from beginning to finish plumbing. We gut renovated a cottage in Kerhonkson and had Will completely replaced all plumbing lines and installed a tankless hot water heater, an antique clawfoot bath tub, antique bathroom sink, toilet, washer/dryer, kitchen sink, dishwasher. He also ran our propane line to the stub out. Like all renovation, you don't know what you find until the walls and floors are ripped open. Had to change somethings along the way and Will was very accommodating throughout. His price was reasonable for changes made. He has a very positive attitude - didn't complain once having to work in our 2-3 ft high crawlspace.

I got 3 quotes and Will was the only one that provided clear quote - down to each item to be installed. One of the well-regarded plumbers in the area gave a quote with 2 lines. I had to call several times to get a breakdown but I finally gave up and went with Top Notch Plumbing and I am so glad I did. I maybe the first to review on YELP but they have a lot of great reviews on homeadvisor and is also a recommended installer for Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. Finally, invoicing and payment was very easy. Highly recommend!
