We just bought our house and the plumbing underneath our kitchen sink was a mess. They had both the cold and hot water tied to the hot water line. So, the faucet only spilled out hot water. The lines were corroded and we couldn't turn iff the cutoff switch. We were desperate so we called Jesse Straight Shot Plumbing. He called us and let us know when he would be available the next day. Then called me to confirm he was on his way. He kept us informed the whole time. He came over and did a fantastic job. I've never seen a plumber work so hard in my life and he was honest, fair and he gave us a really good price so if you want a good reliable plumber call Jessie and straight shot. Do not use! I can't recommend Straight Shot as the owner was remarkably rude to me. The work was done. He texted asking my name and email so they could send invoice and receive payment. I texted him ""Property Management"" and my email address. Jesse then called and literally threatened me (including taking me to small claims), assuming I was not going to pay because the invoice was to Property Management. Please note that I had not yet received his invoice! I have never had someone be so rude to me for no reason. I had every intention of seeing this bill paid promptly, he simply assumed I wouldn't. I can't even describe how upsetting this was. I refused to speak to him again, as I literally felt threatened. When I spoke to his wife, she indicated he had reason to threaten me! Please do not support people who are rude, make assumptions, and threaten others. Their last text to me, after giving my credit card, was to say they would never work for me again. Such good business practice, since I literally paid the bill within hours of receiving it!

We had Jesse out several times before and was efficient and reasonable. HOWEVER, we recently tried to get him out for a clogged drain and he never returned our calls. I called him early one morning and talked to him. He hadn't checked his messages but made an appointment to come out. My wife changed her schedule to be there. No Jesse, no phone call. We called him the next day. He said he had been busy and apologized and made a new appointment ( my wife again changed her schedule to be there) that he never kept OR phoned us back. All he had to do was tell us he was too busy or take 30 seconds to call us and tell us he could not make it. We now have a new plumber who showed up the day after we phoned him. Straight Shot Plumbing gets zero stars for doing less than nothing. I am self employed too but even after a very long day, I would contact my customers promptly they had contacted me. If he can't handle this part off the business end, he needs to work for someone who can handle that part of the business end.

I had a break in the water line outside the house. EBMUD had to turn the water off at the main, so I had no water. I had used Straight shot before, so I called them again. Jesse was here within hours. By the next afternoon, the problem was located, dug out and repaired. Small thing, but Jesse and his associate took their shoes off before entering my house. Price was fair. Would definitely recommend Straight Shot.

Jesse was awesome and all I did was talk to him on the phone! He listened as I explained my problem very patiently, he was very informative and advised me enough that my boyfriend was able to clear the clog himself. He shared his knowledge freely rather than charging me for a consultation and was very understanding of my need to touch bases with my boyfriend before making a decision to have him come out. Professional, personable, and helpful, If I or anyone I know ever needs a plumber, he is who I wouldn't just recommend but urge them to call!

Veteran friendly plumber who's compassionate, true to his bids, professional, quick and reliable! Two days before Christmas Eve 2016, PG&E shut my gas off due to a gas leak and flagged my house as hazard and in order to get the gas turned back on I needed to call a contractor or licensed plumber. I called a couple of plumbers at 6:30pm and no answers, so I continued down the Yelp list of 4 Stars plus and Jesse answered and came right over from San Rafael from another job and arrived an hour later, approximately 7:30pm. He and his crew diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes, he told me the quote of $600-$800 and was ready to fix the issue that night but I figured my home warranty would cover it since I've only owned the house less than a year so I let Jesse know I was going to call my home warranty and have them fix it. Jesse was very professional about it and told me what to tell the warranty plumbers to look for and test and didn't even charge me for coming out late at night to diagnose my gas leak. The warranty plumbers came out and diagnosed what Straight Shot Plumbing already diagnosed and let me know that this gas line replacement was not under my home warranty and that it would take a whole day with a full crew to replace the gas line and quoted me $1,800-$2,200, my mouth dropped. To make matters worse, I just picked up my best friend from the Navy and his family to spend the Holidays with me and we had no hot water or heat and the weather was 30-40 degrees for the entire week leading up to Christmas. I told the warranty plumber to beat it, called Jesse up. It took him a couple of hours to call me back because he was sick but sick or not, once I told him my situation, he was out there the next day, fixed the issue and even called PG&E for me and that afternoon we had heat and hot water thanks to Jesse and his crew and it didn't take him the whole day with a whole crew, it was all done within 3 hours with Jesse and 1 employee. What I most appreciate about Straight Shot Plumbing/Jesse and his crew is that once he found out I was a Veteran 10% discount right off the top because he appreciates the women and men who served and a lot of his family have served as well, but he also gave me additional discounts, maybe it was the Holiday season but I sure appreciated it; ultimately my bill came up to $600 and that was truly a blessing. I don't know if he will always offer discounts, but I know you will save $$ because Jesse is a working person's plumber whose not trying to clean your checking account out, he has 5 Stars rating for a reason. I hope I never have to call a plumber again, but if I do, Jesse and Straight Shot Plumbing will definitely be the one I call. Thanks Jesse and Straight Shot Plumbing, you made my Holiday party a success!

Jesse and his crew do a nice job. They are in and out quickly and provide professional services. He is true to his bids - can usually give you a hard bid onsite when he looks at the project and that price is fair and isn't going to change on your come final invoicing! I would not hesitate to call Jesse about any plumbing issue you may have. He knows his stuff!
