Both of our toilets were backed up which made it an emergency situation. Evan showed up in less than an hour on a Sunday and went right to work. The problem wasn't an easy fix, but Evan persisted until both toilets worked again. He has a delightful personality, is very friendly and informative. He didn't mind telling us how plumbing works and gave 3 options to get the problem fixed. We highly recommend Evan and we enjoyed his Australian accent!

We called Straight Shooter Plumbing to get an estimate for a customer provided toilet installation. We were told over the phone that bids cannot be provided without a plumber coming out view and asses what needed done. The plumber was extremely kind, easy to communicate with, and quick to get the job done. We were quoted a price over $100 more than other local companies. When we asked for a price match to another local company, the price match was approved and we were offered an addional 10% off if we agreed to leave a review. After the plumber left, we did notice a small, slow leak at the supply line and tank connection. We called the main office and they scheduled the plumber to come back. He was scheduled between 1 and 3pm and didn't arrive until about 5pm. We understand that sometimes jobs take a little longer than anticipated, but better communication on timing would have been appreciated. I'm not sure if we would use them again if other needs arise due to the higher costs of services.

Wonderful service, excellent communication, quick response time! Our toilet flooded our bathroom Monday, mid-day. I called Straight Shooter that evening when I got home, after their closing time. They returned my call within an hour and squeezed me into the schedule the very next day. Evan handled our toilet replacement.... he was very knowledgeable, professional, and made sure to check everywhere for possible damage done by our mini flood. I can't say enough wonderful things about these guys!

I had an excellent experience with this Company. I needed my tankless water heater replaced. Steve came out later the same day, assessed the situation, recommended an alternative brand, and the unit was installed within a few days. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. It has now been a few weeks since the installation and the new unit functions perfectly. They will be my go to company in the future.

I found Straight Shooter with a Google search and they had very good ratings from other customers. I do not live local and wasn't sure how it would work to coordinate a sewer lateral replacement from afar for a home that we are renting out. I called and explained my needs over the phone and they quickly responded by scheduling a site visit and estimate within an hour of my call. They required a camera in the sewer line in order to verify conditions to provide the estimate of cost, and they had a coupon on their website that made it affordable. I had to coordinate over the phone with the property management company and the tenant, and Straight Shooter was very communicative and helpful in this process.

During the site visit, they located the exterior cleanout and ran a camera through the sewer line. Once the camera work was complete, the owner (Steve) forwarded me a copy of the video and he walked me through the footage explaining the conditions and what was needed for replacement. Later that same day, I was provided with an estimate, broken down into line items with thorough explanations of cost. In addition, Straight Shooter indicated that they would be responsible for all permits, utility location, surface restoration, and coordination with the tenant.

Upon approval of the estimate, they required 30% down payment and scheduled the work to start the next day. The project ended up with a few challenges including working around unmarked utilities, City required extras, and delayed final permits, but Straight Shooter followed through and got things done in a timely manner. One of the City's requirements added some extra costs to the overall project, but Straight Shooter tried to minimize the extras as much as possible. They were very friendly, professional, communicative, and thorough throughout the project. I really appreciated their willingness to work with us over the phone since we couldn't be there in person. I would recommend them to anyone needing a quality plumber in the area.

I would recommend this place hands down. I called four different plumbing companies that were rated 4.8 and above (the other companies must have a lot of friends that give them reviews). Straightshooter is the only one that called me back. I had a no freeze yard faucet that started running water on a weekend with cold and snow coming. Rick was amazing, he knew exactly what to do. The weekend extra rate was well worth it.

I live in MT. Desperate for honesty from a professional, I called Straight Shooter located across state lines due to their high customer review rating. Steve did a tele-assessment and sent his crew out next day.

That crew, Brandt and Nick, worked tirelessly into the night to fix all the shoddy work that had been done by other plumbing crews. Though I am far away and must pay a travel fee, I am reluctant to even consider another plumber ever again.

For those of you in my area (Sanders County, Montana), consider this crew. They are worth every penny!
