Steve came out same day for an estimate for water heater installation. Very reasonable price & had an opening the next day! I would 1000% recommend Steve. Very knowledgeable, nice guy, funny & liked my goofy dog. I will call him for any plumbing issues in the future!

What can I say? I called 7 Rooter companies and 3 called back. Most required a $40.00 service call. Then their technician would later give me an estimate. So, I called Straight Shooter Plumbing and they called back quickly and then they were able to fit me in the very same day and the estimate was free, as it should be. Then they offered a great price and cleaned out the sewer line and fixed the problem. Through my conversations with Steve and Nick (Co-owners), I feel they are honest and they can be relied upon for all your plumbing needs. Since they were professional and very knowledgeable, I am having them give me an estimate to install 2 water main lines and then create a water drain system to channel rain water away from the dwelling's. If you need a great Plumber your best bet is to put Straight Shooter Plumbing at the top of your list!

Bought a home that the inspector warned us had a slumping/belly issue in the septic line from the house to the tank. Called around and emailed some plumbers and finally found one who serviced Spirit Lake. I emailed Steve with Straight Shooter the video from the inspector and Steve was able to diagnose the issue from seeing the video. Set up a time to come out and Steve and Nick came out and got right to work. They dug up the septic with minimal harm to the lawn and flower beds and did their best to do the job quickly and thoroughly. They replaced the slumping old pipe section with stronger pipe and gave me options because the tank was originally designed in a weird way with its entrance hole facing away from the house meaning the pipe had to turn a corner.

They also came back the next day and installed a riser and cap so we wouldn't have to dig the tank up the next time we pump it. Nick and Steve were great, courteous, prompt and very helpful. I would not hesitate to call them again. Thank you Straight Shooter! You helped us get into our home faster.

Prompt and professional service, even on a Saturday.

I called at 7:45 a.m. on a Sat morning, expecting to leave voicemail and hope for a call back on Monday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Nope....Steve answered, said he had an appointment but he'd drop by on his way to diagnose. He arrived ~30 minutes later, looked at the issue and immediately fixed it. The p trap had come loose, he tightened it and **voila** no more leak.

To top it all off, I anticipated a $40-$50 service call for his effort, but he didn't charge me.

I'll call Straight Shooter Plumbing in a heartbeat, no question, to help with any future plumbing problems I encounter.

Steve is amazing! My family and I just moved into a new house in the area and we needed to find a plumber to install a new dishwasher, as the current one in the home was all rusted out. The lowe's dishwasher installer said he couldn't install it due to how our piping was all set up behind the cupboards. I thought he was being lazy. So I started the search for a plumber. I called Steve and he was super polite, professional, and respectful over the phone. He was out in the field at the time but assured me he would get back to me about when he could come take a look at installing our dishwasher. He was true to his word and got back to me in a timely manner and was able to come out to our home the following day and showed up on time, like he said he would. Come to find out, the lowe's guy wasn't being lazy and Steve said the way our dishwasher was set up prior was not installed correctly and that things had been rotting and fermenting in the pipes, just sitting for who knows how long. He took on the task and it was definitely a dirty job! NOT an easy installation. When he removed the old dishwasher, it was one of the most rancid smells I've ever smelt. But he removed it out of our home quickly and worked his magic and got the new one installed! It was not a quick fix but he handled it like the pro that he is! We are extremely grateful for his skills and service! He is so easy to talk to and get along with. He knows what he's doing and you will rest assured knowing that your home is in good hands.
