At one time I thought they were very good but since they now have the SLC contract with Home Serve, their customer service has significantly regressed. Multiple times, my jobs have been rescheduled only to be told by their receptionist that there was a scheduling error. My neighbors and friends have told me the same has happen to them and they wonder if larger jobs or emergency jobs that have a bigger pay day are pushing other jobs aside. Nevertheless, I am losing faith in this company and would not recommend them.

Bryan's pitch to me at first was other plumbers will do a ""bad job"" and ""rip you off"" bla, bla, bla. Over three weeks later he was not returning calls failed to show up to even provide an estimate. I realize all contactors are extremely busy but just a little professional courtesy would have been appreciated.

I had major plumbing problems and Stott came to my rescue. Not all heroes wear capes :-) I cannot say enough great things about them!

I had a leak in my basement AND a mystery sewage backup. Stott was the fourth company that came to look and they were the ones who finally figured it out. We had some miscommunication in the beginning (due to my being out of town, nothing on Stott's part) and Bryan and Mike, the owners, came to make sure we were all on the same page before they scheduled our work. They made me feel so comfortable with their bid (which was WAY less than I was expecting) and said they would begin work ASAP. They were able to push my sewer repair up by 2 days due to another cancellation. We ended up having a sewage setup Bryan and Mike had never encountered before. However, they figured it all out and made everything easier for any future issues. Bryan even sat down and drew me a diagram of what was going on and explained it in a way even I could understand. While they worked on the sewer (which took all day) they began the dig for our water main replacement (the source of my basement leak) which would happen the next day. This job ended up taking ~12 hours instead of the usual ~5. Despite all of the unexpected bumps in the road and ALL the extra work, they didn't charge me any extra from my original bid (other than the parts and labor for the sewer repair). Every employee who came to our house - from the ""inside guys"" to the excavation crew - were friendly, professional, and had masks and shoe coverings. They worked extremely hard and efficiently and notified me of any issues as they arose. I could not be more grateful for all the work they did. I will use them for any future plumbing needs and recommend them to everyone. THANK YOU STOTT!!

Main water line repair; quick, easy, professional.
A bit sloppy but it's an excavator and sewer/water line
crew. Never did get an invoice as promised or the fixture clean outs
(when you mess with a old water line, the accumulated debris/mineralization clogs your shower heads and faucets).
Otherwise, They showed up, got it done and in today's world, that's almost a 5 star rating.....

We had to use Stott for our water heater break because of our HomeServe warranty. The professional Ben was excellent. His replaced our water heater and did the upgrade needed for code regulation. He explained all his recommendations with knowledge and clarity. He was very respectful of our home and very clean with the job. The costs were less than another quote we obtained. We highly recommend Stott Plumbing, Heating & Air.

Highly recommended! Service was performed in a timely manner at a fair price and by friendly, professional technicians.

I needed my water main replaced after a leak was discovered. I had a bid from another company, but after talking with a friend - I called Stott plumbing & am glad I did.

Ben came out to investigate the issue and walked me through all aspects of what needed to be done, as well as all potential issues that may arise during work (need to cut into my driveway being #1). He made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, never once talking over my head or making me feel stupid. As a female managing these situations on my own, that is very important.

The bid was fairly priced and they even came to my house to give me temporary water since there was a bit of a wait before the crew could come fix the issue.

Juan came to perform the work and was extremely professional, friendly, and showed me the issues they found. He was honest in that once they dug in (literally), they found the entire line didn't need replacing, saving me thousands. They could've easily just replaced the whole thing & I would've been none the wiser.

Both Juan and Ben were absolutely wonderful to work with and I will definitely be using Stott plumbing for any future projects.

I have to use Stott because of the Home Warranty I have. Last year, I called them to fix a water main break. They ""fixed"" it, but it broke less than a year later in the same place. I called them. They gave me a five hour window, from 12-5, and told me that they would give me a call and give me a 30 minute window to get home from work. (I get a total of two weeks paid time off; I don't want to waste a half a day waiting for a plumber). I called them at 4:41 because they had not called. They said someone was on there way. I left from work, and at 4:51, they called to tell me the technician had left because I was not there, and I would have to reschedule my apt. I called back at 4:53, to tell them I was on my way. I have sink hole in the front yard because of the water main break. Why the person couldn't evaluate the problem which was outside and wait five minutes until I get there, I don't know. They then told me that they would honor my appointment that day, but the plumber would be there in an hour or so. I decided to stay home and wait even though I would miss 3 hours of work. I was supposed to work until 8:00 that night. At 6:45 I called, and asked when the plumber was coming over. The night operator said she would call me back to tell me when the plumber was coming. She never called me back, nor would she answer the phone. I wasted three hours of paid time off for nothing. Nothing was fixed. Just lies and more lies. In fact, they even lied when I called them when I first noticed the sink hole in the morning, saying that the repair they did was over a year old, so they did not have an obligation to refix it, Today is May the 14th 2018. They did the repair on July 20th 2017, less than an year. I keep all receipts for home repair. HORRIBLE.

i had broken water pipes out door, Juan and his team had to dig 4 feet down in the ground, worked hard to have it fixed even in the dark, the second morning they put the concrete.
They were professional. trustful, clean and fast. excellent service.

Very unprofessional. The back story is my neighbor and i share a common sewer line which backed up. My neighbor called Stott to scope their line + the common line which they supposedly cleared. My insurance required a separate investigation on my house as to the cause of our water so I called Stott being that they were familiar with my neighbor's situation. 2 men showed up without any familiarity regarding the problem. They walked through saturated carpet in the basement and tracked it back through my house without shoe covers or taking off their shoes. They were there for a total of about 5 minutes, seemed irritated to be there the entire time, never scoped my side of the line and then charged me $75 for showing up and doing nothing other than contaminating the rest of my house. Notably, I still have sewer water in my basement which reaccumulated after disaster clean up. I called for a refund and they gave me the run around, so I figured I'd let others know.
