In 1979, George Keating married the love of his life, an Italian local. Through commitment and effort, by 1981, they established a full-service plumbing operation that included multiple plumbing options. Before long, the company became the primary reference from locals and contractors for anyone needing plumbing work. This made Stone Harbor Plumbing as the leading plumbing service on 7-Mile Island, which includes the towns of Avalon and Stone Harbor.

Through three and a half decades of consistent, reliable, and welcoming service, George and Terri made quality workmanship and reputation their highest priority. The company president, George Keating, Jr. was born in the Northeast part of Philadelphia and spent every summer at his parents' house near the Shore in Stone Harbor. He started his plumbing career at the age of 16 as his grandfather's plumbing helper. His love for plumbing developed when he moved permanently to the Shore town of Stone Harbor to lead the family plumbing operation. That marked the beginning of a remarkable journey!
