Meant to write this last summer when it happened. We discovered a huge leak our side of the water main (sprinklers installed by a landscaper a few years before) on a Sunday afternoon. JD lives in the neighborhood though we hadn't met. My husband walked up and knocked on his door. He left his dinner table to come and look and diagnosed the problem. Suggested what to do to avoid a weekend rate, and was out bright and early Monday to fix the problem. Reasonable price for an excellent job.

Both JD and Jesse did a great job getting a drain un-clogged at our small commercial building in Marysville. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. They didn't mind that I asked them a bunch of questions! :)

They went above and beyond to take care of our issue and had very competitive pricing!

JD was the one bright spot in a terrible weekend. My sister in law was getting married and while I was getting ready to go to the wedding I noticed a terrible smell wafting through the house. I followed my nose downstairs where I found myself wading through 2 inches of raw sewage which had leaked fro under my toilet to the whole downstairs.

I frantically called over 10 plumbers from around my area. All were either closed (it was a weekend) or were too busy to come out. Meanwhile sewage was continually leaking in.

I found Stollwerk on Yelp but thought it would be a long shot since they were way outside my service area. JD picked up immediately and could clearly hear the panic in my voice. Even though he was over an hour away from my house, he offered to immediately come out to take a look. While he was driving out he constantly texted to let me know how far out he was (this was T minus 2 hours to the wedding).

By the time he arrived, we had determined the problem was a city sewage problem and not a plumbing issue. JD helped us talk to the city sewer guy and despite his rush to get to our house and 1hour plus drive on a Saturday, he did not charge us a dime. A few hours later he texted me again to check on the situation and offer some advice on repairing he bathroom. Now that's service!

If I can convince JD to come out again to the shoreline area, I will turn to him for all my plumbing needs.

I made it to the wedding, albeit smelling pretty terrible. Thanks JD for providing such great service and some sanity in my day.

I cannot recommend JD and Stollwerck Plumbing enough! I woke on a Sunday morning to the sound of hissing and dripping water behind my shower surround. Having no previous encounters with a plumbing company, I made the mistake of contacting another company who guaranteed a plumber at my doorstep in an hour. Two hours later they arrived, and needless to say, we did not get along well.

Frantically searching for after hour plumbers lead me to JD and Stollwerck Plumbing. He arrived an hour later, on a Sunday afternoon. He assessed the situation and very clearly told me what was going on and how long the process would take. An hour later and I have running water in my home again, no leak in the shower and a new job for my husband (mice behind the wall was the reason for the leak).

JD was professional, clean and reasonably priced for an emergency, after hours job. I hope I never need a plumber again, but if I do this is who I'm calling. Thank you JD.

I was having some issues with a leaky toilet in our rental and called Stollwerck Plumbing. They were great calling me back in a timely manner, contacting my tenant to set up an appointment and getting the job done. Our tenant felt great about them and we felt like they did a wonderful job. Very professional and would highly recommend. Recommended them to a friend who has since used them and they were equally impressed. They are also very reasonable.

JD scheduled an appointment with us a week in advance, giving a two-hour window for arrival, which maybe should have been a red flag. He never showed up and never called. Is there any excuse for that? Now wish we'd heeded the similar, earlier review and will not be giving him a second chance.

Found my toilet leaking this morning. I called Stollwerck Plumbing and had a plumber at my home within 2 hours. The problem was assessed carefully and the repair completed quickly. At the end the gentleman who did the work stayed and worked the toilet to insure it was working correctly. Great job and great company.

What a breath of fresh air! These people are skilled and fair.
Called them in to fix years of screwed plumbing in our house. They were honest about what should be done, and what had to be done.
The owner showed up 45 minutes after I called him, and he had a qualified employee here within 30 minutes of his assessment.
Both the owner and employee were clean cut, courteous, and professional.
They made quick, quality repairs, and solved all my problems, without milking me for all I was worth.

Having moved into a new house, in a new area, one of the first things I did was look over reviews on local companies who provide various services. Ultimately very few have perfect ratings, and that's definitely the case for those that handle plumbing.

I went with Stollwerck because the of the number of reviews and that the trend was positive. The poor reviews seemed to be based on unique situations that I would be unlikely to encounter.

The first thing I needed done was to have a garbage disposal installed. He arrived on time, completed it in an efficient manner, and was pleasant to talk to. It was a positive first experience. Will definitely turn to Stollwerck when any plumbing issues arise in the future.
