Nick and his plumbing company is my number one choice when I have plumbing problems. He spends the time to find and fix the problem then he cleans up after. I've not had any problems with any of the work he did for me. He's very respectful, he explains what the problem is, how he's going to fix it and then calls back to see if evening is working as should be. I highly recommend Nick and his this company.

Nick did a great job coordinating with our co-op in Jackson Heights, Queens. The first day he came the super wasn't there to turn off the water so that Nick could do the work. Fortunately Nick came by the following day when the water could be turned off and he fixed the issue at an affordable price. You know how, when you're about to write a great review of a little known-restaurant, you feel a little worried because you fear you'll never get into the restaurant again? Well this is like that. I am worried that Nick may never have time for me. In a sea of meh contractors, he is a standout. He comes when you need him. His prices are reasonable. He analyzes a problem and takes care of it. He will turn up for small jobs as well as big ones. Today he fixed the five or six electrical outlets in my home that didn't work, and hadn't worked, for years. (One might not think that burnt electrical outlets constitute an emergency during the Covid crisis, but since one involved the microwave, and I am sheltering in place with perpetually ravenous 18 year old boys, this constituted an emergency) When I am allowed, he will be my go-to for entirely renovating my kitchen.

That is, if he still has time for me.

This company is amazing. First of all, their prices are fair. Second of all, they know how to do literally anything, from plumbing to electricity to construction. I just moved into a home and I had several things I needed help with... replacing a garage door, replacing a patio door, showers that were not running hot water, lights that were not turning on, mice popping out of random holes in the house. I called this company on a Saturday night, and Nick came out the next day to give a free estimate of the work requested. I had already had a plumber come out for the showers, that said there was nothing he could do about it, but Nick quickly recognized that the handles were not installed properly, and quickly fixed the issue. In total, with all the work, he came with various company members a total of about 5 times. The work was done with care, professionally, and he explained everything that was needed. They also took appropriate precautions, (masks, staying 6 week apart, minimal people) considering the COVID 19 precautions. Nick genuinely seemed like he cared about the work and doing it well, and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company!

Our kitchen sink pipe was leaking. I took some photos and sent them to Nicholas. He came to the rescue very quickly and replaced the pipes for which we were very grateful.

However, the pipe required a connection from the dishwasher. The connection wasn't perfectly sealed when the pipe was replaced. We realized there was a leak 2 months after the installation and contacted Nicholas. He came on the same day and fixed the problem. It's nice to know a service provider who is so responsive and will stand by his work.

I discovered a sink pipe that was corroded and leaking in my kitchen. Yelp listed the top 10 plumbers in my neighborhood. I chose the ones that said they would give me a response in 10 minutes. Nicholas, from Stitch Coterie, answered w/in 5 minutes...and it was a Saturday. He came over w/in the hour and replaced the kitchen pipe and also fixed a slow drain in my bathroom sink. I was so grateful! He was extremely professional and courteous, showed up when he said he would, gave me his cell phone #, and was just a decent hard working man. Also does handyman work as well. I already recommended him to several people in my building.

After a disastrous experience with One Stop Handyman which could have resulted in an explosion, Nicholas from Stitch Coterie came to the rescue. He was quickly able to resolve a dangerous situation and efficiently got the gas stove working safely. He also connected a combination wall oven microwave. He is very knowledgeable and a lovely person to work with. I highly recommend his services.

I mean the best experience!!!! I tried the message option on yelp and answered some quick questions about my plumbing issue and Nicholas replied right back to me. We scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. He was on time professional friendly and discreet (for my doorman building) he got right to the problem and before I knew it he had solved all my issues with plumbing and even fix another reoccurring issue!

Nicholas is so wonderful! So friendly and honest and speedy! I called him to help me install a washlet and he was so thorough! He came over quickly and promptly identified an issue with the plumbing while leaving me with a perfectly installed washlet and remote. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
