Update *****I recently hired Joe to do some plumbing work (change out a hot water line, remove/install a dishwasher, unclog a shower drain, and fix a sink drain). As expected from my initial interaction with him, it was easy to schedule a service appointment. He showed up on time did the work quickly and thoroughly... and charged me A LOT LESS than other plumbers I had contacted for bids. He is ABSOLUTELY the real deal! Thanks Joe!!!

Mr Joe Stilwell is a no- nonsense guy. I contacted him after a big name company started selling me their club membership even before looking at my water heater (control valve / thermostat started leaking). To think that I wasted half a day from work to wait for these big name plumbers, only to sell me their club membership; then quote me almost a grand just to repair the control valve (they did not even have that part in their truck and would have to come back! They also recommended to change the whole water heater tank for 26 grand!), I paid their service call fee ($80) and kicked them out.

I called Joe who was very upfront with the fees and the stuff to repair the leaking control valve. And he showed on time which really mattered to me. Mr. Stilwell replaced the control valve / thermostat in no time and charged me fairly, a lot less than those other guys were asking. I would never hesitate to call Mr Stilwell for any plumbing issues in the future.
