We needed to change sewer pump in the basement (Frankfort 60423). Plumber came and was busy for about 35-40 minutes. He charged $485 for his work and left unscrewded pum lid that is rattling during pump work. After couple of days we found that valve connection was leaking. We called to Steve's plumbing using 3 telephone numbers, eventualy he called back and promissed to come next day or day after. Nobody came and all our subsequent called were not answered. We are very desapointed with the service. Our invoice is sayng that we have 1 year waranty on labour. It is simply not true. Not recomend him to any one!!!
Fast, friendly, and excellent service. I had Steve's remove my old sink disposal and replace it with a fresh one because it stopped working. I compared prices against Lowe's, Home Depot, and Menards for the same unit, and Steve's was the best deal. It's also the best in-home service experience I've ever had. The contractor, Ron, told me my unit wasn't broken, it merely needed to be reset (could've fooled me). I had him install a new one anyway. However, it was refreshing to find a company with integrity because that's rare nowadays. Thanks Steve's!
Michael M.Steve's sewer & drain came to do a sewer tile repair for my 90 year old mother.
They had to break up the concrete in the basement. When they completed the job they took the broke up concrete and threw it in her catch basin without her permission, instead of hauling it away.
We discovered this when we were going to have her sewer rodded and the men said they could not go through the catch basin because it was filled with concrete. I spoke with Ron, the owner of Steve's Sewer and Drain, and he asked me send him the invoice, which I did. I then spoke with him February, 5, 10, 17, 18, 28th, making and appointment with him each time to come and remove the concrete from the catch basin. He never showed up for any of the scheduled appointments
I would strongly suggest staying not hiring this business. They were too lazy to remove there garbage from the job, but worst part of all is, they did it because they felt they could get away with it, because the customer was 90 years old.
This contractor is truely untrustworthy.
I own a large auto facility and customer service is a big thing for me. Plus being mechanicly inclined I have issues with people just throwing parts into fixing stuff when I have them work on my plumbing, heating/ac etc.
Well the plumber I was using had gone MIA and I needed some work done on a rental property. Plumbing was not draining properly. I got in touch with Steve's and even being busy he squeezed me in. I met his Tech there and it may have been the owner himself. Thinking about it as I went there, I thought it may need to just have the septic pumped out. The Tech came and looked at it and came up with the same solution. I asked how much for me wasting his time.....he very nicely said, get it pumped out and then we'll go from there. NO CHARGE !!! That's how I run my business and it made me feel very comfortable to see some one with the same honesty and integrity.
Came out and rodded not only our bathtub but the line to the street. Was fast, professional and VERY helpful! He noticed a few other issues that were wrong but wouldn't cause a problem. Not only did he not push me to fix them right away, which would have made him a lot more money, but he calmed me down. Explained everything and I haven't had a problem with what he's worked on since.
Great service!
