I've been using Steves for over 12 years now as well as some of my family members and friends for all of our heating and air-conditioning needs and if you are looking for an honest and reliable company you need to look no longer as we've had nothing but wonderful things to say about their staff, customer support and workmanship. Doug was awesome and was a pleasure to work.

I had scheduled an appointment with a plumbing service a day in advance. And on the next day, as I was waiting for the plumber, the office called me minutes before the scheduled appointment to say that the plumber had an emergency and that they couldn't find anyone else to take his place. So they wanted me to reschedule. Instead, I looked for another plumbing service that can come by the same day, and sure enough I found one fortunately. On a same day appointment, I had Steve's Five Star Service replace my corroded water line and one-piece angle stop valve for my toilet, as well as a stuck shutoff valve outside my garage. The work was performed by Jose, who did a very good job. Great professional demeanor and very knowledgeable in his trade. I don't usually write Yelp reviews but in this case I felt it wouldn't be right not to give them kudos for their excellent service. I'm so glad I found them easily on Yelp.

Just had John Z come out and look at our a/c. It was having some issues blowing warm air out. Of course it decided to start working before he arrived. I explained the problem and he went and checked out our system. He found that the stater fan was going bad and said that he noticed that whoever did the last repair on our capacitor didn't do it right. He explained what they did and that he corrected the issue. That's another reason we don't use that particular company anymore because everytime they came out they always found something wrong and on top of all that they did crappy work. Probably why they had to change their business name.

Overall I am very pleased with John Z and the company's service. The company we normally use nowadays couldn't really give me a day they could come out due to staff shortage but Steve's said they could come out the next day and John Z was here at the beginning of the window they gave me. AWESOME! AWESOME, AWESONE! Thank you to all of you!

Our AC has been on pretty much all summer and working fine till we noticed A LOT of water on the carpeting in the bedroom nearest the furnace closet this past Saturday. Apparently the condensation drain pipe had been clogged for the past month and a copious amount of water had backed up and collected in the vent space under the furnace and had seeped into the carpeting of that bedroom before we noticed it Saturday night. I turned off the AC, even though it was cooling fine, Saturday night because there was water dripping around too many electrical connections in the furnace closet as it made its way down to the space below the furnace. Called Steve's 5 Star first thing Sunday morning and Doug called back within the hour and said he would be at our house by noon (he already had 2 service calls scheduled Sunday morning. Doug arrived half hour early than expected and soon figured where the blockage was and cleared it. He turned the AC back on & checked for leaks and did a quick maintenance inspection of the AC unit and check temperatures at various AC vents around the house to ensure proper cooling. Doug was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to work with. More importantly he showed up early and resolved the issue before 1PM when the temperature was inching towards 98 degrees yesterday afternoon. Yes, I had to pay premium pricing for a Sunday service call but Steve's 5 Star & Doug responded promptly and resolved our problem. I would definitely recommend this company!

Charles, AC Service guy came, inspected and provided us an estimate of a full AC unit since our old AC unit was 28 years old and was completely damaged. Further use of that old AC could have caused some serious damages to the home. Charles provided an estimate that included new asbestos work too because the old one was asbestos duck work. Asbestos Abatement and an installation of full AC unit cost around $14000 to $15000. Price was fair compared to the other companies around this region. Thier solo brand is Carrier and it's competitive. It was 2 days work because of the installation of new duct work and they provided financing without interest for 60 months. The techs were very cautious about COVID precautions and kept clean around the area of installation. This was a big work for them.
