What a nightmare my toilet overflowed again!! I know I have a problem and now it's time to call a professional. I'm a fairly new homeowner, it's early in the morning,and can't get a decent reference for a reliable plumber. I open my yelp app for a Santee plumber and Steve comes up, some reviews are great a couple not so complimentary so in my usual fashion I roll the dice..... I'm so glad I did!!!!I called Steve at 7am he told me he had a few jobs to do that day but he could be over in the afternoon, he called me an hour before gave me enough time to leave work, he met me at my house, went straight to work, fixed my toilet, told me the job would be $200.00 & actually charged me $175.00 not bad I think,also very informative. His assistant Moises was very helpful,with plenty of rubs for my dog!! Thanks Steve!!

I called last week, and Steve was able to come by for an estimate the same day. I needed to replace an original sink in my bathroom. Steve not only advised that me about what needed to be done, but also went out of his way to aquire the replacement parts and sinks I needed. He also set up an installation date that worked with my schedule, and brought all the parts and the new sinks with him. The whole process from start to finish was smooth and stress-free. Steve and his apprentice were very polite, clean, and friendly in appearance and behavior. They got right to work, and knew exactly what they were doing. The job would have taken me all day to do, but they were finished in two hours. I am very satisfied with the services recieved, and the overall experience. I will definitely give Steve all of my future plumming business. Thanks Steve.

Steve is part of our family, being married to my step-niece. We have been using been using Steve for over 15 years. He has been very professional, dependable and responsive, and always willing to assist in emergencies.

During a Thanksgiving holiday there was a leak in the main water line to the house. He came out to make the repair that required custom work and gaskets. On other occasions he fixed a waterline that the compression fitting had exploded going to the ice machine that a handyman hooked up at the same time fixed a value in the bathroom. This was the same day we invited his family over for dinner.

He has installed a pressurized toilet, a new shutoff value, a new water heater, snaked the waterline from the kitchen to the main line and several fixtures in our home. Several times he went ahead and replace some external facets that I did not know needed to be fixed, but was needed. Every time Steve does work not once did he have to redo or any rework. When it comes to any plumbing needs, I have the best confidence in Steve to do it right the first time.

He has also done work on our rental property. I had a main waste line break on a cast iron pipe that was over 60 years old. I had a quote of 5K, by a plumber sent from the insurance company only to find out the claim was not going to be covered. Steve did the job for 1.5K and fixing only water was needed. He also did a garbage disposal replacement and fixed some leaking pipes. Although he is family I would not be using him if he was not up to par or did quality work. I have come to realize that if you want quality work done right the first time you have to pay for all the years of experience and wisdom that Steve has to offer. I will be using Steve in the future for all of our plumbing needs.

I found out about Steve's Plumbing at the Santee Street Fair and I am so glad I did. This is my first time ever needed a plumber so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

What I got was a quick response time, very reasonable pricing, efficient and courteous professional plumber. He was so nice even after my garbage disposal spewed him with fishy water. Steve took it in stride by simply brushing off the fish particles and then even cleaning up the mess for us under the sink!

He was also nice enough to seal our sink for us after he saw that it wasn't clipped or bolted in. On top of that he left us with the rest of the sealant, no extra charge for the sink. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone!

Steve showed up on time, neat and professional. I had several small jobs that he performed in quick-time. His charge was fair, he left the scene cleaner than he found it, and thanked me with a smile. I asked him about my aging water heater, expecting a sales job. Nope. ""Your hot water heater is fine It has quite a few good years in it"". You just can't beat honesty and integrity!

I called Steve out based on yelp reviews alone. He was here the next business day. I had a non flushing toilet and a smelly shower and originally asked him to snake all drains which I knew could be pricey! Instead he showed up on time, fixed my toilet and used a chemical to make my drain smell go away. He checked all my fixtures and drains throughout the house and gave me tips as a home owner as to keeping things running well. He did not snake my drains and told me it wasn't needed. He could have easily gotten near 300 dollars from me today and instead did the minimum to solve my issues. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I will be renting my home soon and his card is going in my file cabinet for sure!

Woke up this morning and found our water heater leaking. I called Steve and he was over in 2 hours. He put in a new water heater. Did a great job. He's friendly and courteous. Great attention to detail. He's an experienced professional plumber. My husband and I highly recommend him.

We have a home in So. Mission Bay and a neighbor told us about Steve. I also had several other plumbering companies come in and give me a bid on replacing my shower head that had broken off behind the wall. I immediately like Steve's straightforwardness and felt instantly I could trust him and I was correct- he did a fantastic job and I didn't feel ripped off- ( trust me-I know I have been taken a few times $$$$).
