I was very impressed by Steve and his son. I just got new washer and dryer and called Steve to install them. Glad I did he connected the gas line for the dryer and ran an exhaust to the outside of my home. I discovered the water valves for washer were leaking and he changed them for me as well. Had great conversation and it was all cleaned up. His prices are very reasonable. I will call him again when needed. Thank you so much Steve

I am perplexed as I write this review after reading all of the beaming reviews and actually having had used Steve's before with no issues.

I called Steve out to a rental home I have in Santee to repair a toilet that wouldn't stop running. Steve got out there quickly and performed $225 worth of work, none of which stopped the running. He did call me and inform me that the handle was sticking and he didn't have the part because it was an older model toilet (maybe this information would have been more appropriate if received before racking up a $225 invoice), but he greased it and hopefully that did the trick.

Well, it didn't so I called Steve and asked if he warrantied his work. That didn't sit well with him and he proceeded to scream at me that he can't be expected to carry every part for every toilet on his truck, some other sarcastic comments, information about his years of experience, and that my tenant was OK with the sticking handle. That was true, however, my tenant didn't understand that this would make the running persist. I had actually purchased the handle myself, and was hoping Steve would install it, but he started getting belligerent with me before I could ask. Eventually I was able to tell him that I purchased the handle and he did text me that he would install it for FREE, but at that point, I didn't want anything to do with him.

I was so upset that I never want to speak with this man ever again in my life. It is NOT OK to bully customers who expect that the problem you were paid to fix is fixed. If you didn't have the proper part to make the toilet stop running, you shouldn't accept the job. I would have called another plumber who was willing to order the part and do the job I requested, or for that matter, replace it.

We had a weird whistling noise coming from our downstairs toilet and we went on the NextDoor app to find recommendations for a local plumber. We had multiple people in the Santee area refer us to Steve's Plumbing.

I called Steve and he happen to be in the area and came by my house within 20 minutes. From the start he was very professional and very personable. He checked multiple things with the plumbing, not just the toilet, to make sure there weren't any other issues going on or on the verge of happening in the near future. He also explained his thought process on accessing the issue and gave different options to fix it. He even showed me what to do as a good preventative maintenance. He fixed the whistling and he even had time to add in a new water line to our fridge in the garage.

I highly recommend Steve's Plumbing. Keep supporting our local small businesses.

I actually haven't had Steve to do any work at our house, but I felt he deserved five stars for his help.

We had a blockage in our main drain, and had Anderson Plumbing out the night all of the flooding happened. They spent hours at our house and we not able to clear the blockage. They charged us $600 and then told us the fix would cost us $3500 - they believed we had roots in the drain or the pipe had collapsed.

As I was going back and forth with our home warranty company, I called Steve for a second opinion (he had previously been recommended by a co-worker). Steve spent 15 minutes on the phone with me, asking questions about our issue. At the end, he was of the opinion we got wrong information from Anderson and to not assume they diagnosed the issue correctly.

Long story long, out home warranty sent a technician who was able to clear the blockage in 10 minutes - no indication of roots or a collapse.

My water heater started leaking so I called Steve's Plumbing for a water heater replacement.
He came right out the same day and measured for a new one. Within just a few hours he installed a brand new commercial grade water heater. Steve was very friendly and professional. The install turned out awesome. Steve is a very experienced plumber who knows exactly what he is doing.
Before I found out about Steve's I called around to the big box stores and got nothing but a run around and their prices were much higher than Steve's
I am glad I chose Steve's Plumbing. Thanks Steve for a job well done.

Steve the plumber did an excellent job. He was on time, unplug all the drains in a timely manner, repaired the toilets and adjusted all the water levels on all three toilet which in turn will save me water and money. On top of everything else he was good with the dogs. I would recommend Steve for any of your plumbing needs.

Steve was wonderful ! He was very nice, honest, professional and informative. He even gave my mastiff puppy water because it was so hot out. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone and will definitely use him again !

I tried to replace the wax seal on my toilet myself and had problems with the bolts breaking loose from the flange. Very frustrated, I found Steve on YELP, and called him. He told me he could be over in two hours. He actually texted me and showed up in one hour after the initial call. He is knowledgeable and his price was very fair. He works on customers houses like it was his own. Thank you very much Steve!

Based on other Yelp reviews, I contacted Steve's Plumbing to see if he could help me replace my garbage disposal. Someone from his office immediately responded to my email and asked that I call Steve directly. He had me take pictures of my current GD so he could recommend a replacement unit I could purchase myself.
Moises came out to my home and did all the work in about 45 minutes for less than $100. He checked to make sure everything was in working order while beingprofessional and courteous.
It's hard to trust people you don't know to not lead you in the wrong direction.....Steve was upfront and honest and never waivered from his over the phone estimate.
