Based on Yelp reviews I called Steve's cousin Stephano, but he was busy and recommended Steve. After quickly checking Steve's great reviews, I called him. I was not disappointed.

I had a blocked sewer line and wanted it unblocked ASAP. Steve was in the middle of another job, but told me that he thought he'd be able to fit me in as his next job. Within a couple hours of calling him, everything was taken care of and I had gotten some thoughtful and helpful advice on my options for dealing with this sewer line which seems to pug up every couple of years, all for a modest price.

I haven't met him in person (he was fine doing everything by phone), but he is helpful, knows what he's talking about, is pleasant to talk to and his charges are reasonable. I haven't actually been home to check that everything works, but I'm confident that it does and, if not, I know Steve will make it right.

I won't hesitate to call him for other plumbing work.

This review is long overdue. I have availed of Steve's Plumbing services for more than 6 times now, from minor jobs to major ones. And not once have I been disappointed with his work. Like most reviews here, Steven was recommended to me by his father from Diablo Rooters. And all I can say is he is truly a professional. He comes on time, does exactly what he says, very upfront in what he can and cannot do, and charges a very reasonable price. He is also very friendly and courteous. I have recommended Steven to 2 of my neighbors already and they practically have the same opinions about him. I would say he is my go-to plumber. Mario and Luigi got nothing on him (get it?).

Steve was a referral from his father. He was on time and although busy the first day. He came promptly over the next day. Price is right and I always would rather support local business. He also accepts credit cards which is always a good thing.

Steve's Plumbing was GREAT! Referred by Kevin at Diablo (who I believe is Steve's dad) for my emergency plumbing fix. Steve called me right back, showed up on time, fixed the problem, charged me about a fifth of what I was expecting, patted the dog, and took off. DEFINITELY a thumbs up!

We woke up to a plumbing problem this Morning - a Saturday. Our go-to plumber (Stefano's) was pretty booked up and referred us to Steve. Steve returned our call in a reasonable amount of time, and was able to fit us in between jobs the same day. He arrived quickly and was very professional. He knew exactly what needed to be done to fix our issue and charged us a very fair amount for his time. I was actually expecting to pay more for a Saturday service call. I would totally use him again!

I called Kevin at Diablo Plumbing first because he has so many good reviews and ratings on Yelp. But he was booked and referred me to his son, Steven. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

I needed a cartridge replaced on my single-handle shower faucet. Simple enough, but I couldn't manage to get the old cartridge out. Steven was prompt, super friendly, professional and did the job while showing me tips and tricks so that I can do it myself next time.

I think I have found my plumber of choice.
