Never showed up. Very disappointing. The leak is continuing to be an issue. I can't believe people who can't communicate think they can run a business. In talking with other home owners this apparently is common practice for this plumber.

I wish I could give Steve's Plumbing in Kauai a 0 rating. Having to give them a 1 is so not right. I would never recommend this company for nothing. They do not stand behind there terrible work.

Solar water heater not working. They sent out a tech, Never bothered to check with a meter. Went up examined panels. Said they are all in need of repair Turns out my panels were so dirty they could not function Are you kidding me ! I will for sure, never call this ""company""

Steve's Plumbing of Kauai was called for a repair at our tenant's small house. She was asked to sign an estimate. The minor repair took one hour and consisted of one pipe and one clamp to an exterior pipe. I was charged over $1500! The manager, Fred, was contacted about concerns over the inflated price and said he would look into it. I offered to pay a reasonable amount for the work. He went ahead and charged my credit card the full amount of over $1500 without responding to my inquiry. This is a dishonest business DO NOT USE STEVE'S PLUMBING!!

My house is 44 years old. I had a stopped up drain in my kitchen. I called Steve's Plumbing and Kai came and took care of my drain. He worked really hard to unstop my drain with a large snake cleaner. He said 44 years of build up and rerouted my kitchen drain. I have my sink Drain rerouted. Kai was very professional and knowledgeable!

They'll rip you, don't use them. They quoted me one price and throughout the 3 hours, they kept changing the price, $400, $600 for a very small sink replacement. Then quoted $2200 for a hot water replacement not including parts, i see their trucks all the time and it gives me PTSD every time.

Ridiculously overpriced, quoted us close to $10K for a simple leak from a solar panel that cost less than $700 from a reputable Handyman Company. And to add insult to injury they have been calling, relentlessly, every single day to push their quote. I told them multiple times to stop and not at all interested, they are desperate. Just can't take no for an answer.

Total rip off. Didn't show 4 times for scheduled appointments. I missed work for those appointments. Charged us $3600 for two valves. Left the worksite a total mess. Keep looking for a plumber that won't rip you off. I wish I did.

PEOPLE ON KAUAI! DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!! They ruined our lives!!!! WE SPENT OVER $10,000 and NOTHING WAS DONE RIGHT! They keep hiring new guys but they are just as bad as the others. TERRIBLE. Many times throughout the project I was forced to hire different plumbers to fix their work. I only let them continue to try and get some of the money back. Big mistake as every time they come more problems arise. I thought I could trust them because the people at the office were very professional. They answered their phone every time , ""how can I make you smile?"" Now these words echo as a cruel ironic joke. I paid over $10,000 for multiple jobs and nothing was done right. They fired the original plumber that was hired when they just opened on Kauai and did terrible jobs on multiple houses here. They hired a new guy from Oklahoma named, Travis. He is as bad as the old guy. TERRIBLE!!! First, I hired them to install a hot water heater. I was satisfied with what they did until the gas company came to inspect the gas meter. It was installed right next to the meter which is against the code because the gas meter is flammable. The gas company threatened to shut off the gas if the problem was not remedied quickly citing this as a major safety concern. They were paid to reroute/replace an existing, but old, hot water pipe since we were working on the wall. They said the job was done however we found out later that they didn't install the hot water pipe because... the old one broke. All of this after the walls were sealed. We had to open the drywall and redo the whole thing with a different company. They refused to pay for the new drywall. After the hot water line was replaced, the water in the house dribbled out of the shower/faucet. They were unprofessional when questioned about this and argued this as a byproduct of the work. This is ok except they had no answers or plan on how to fix. We went days several times throughout this project with no hot water. We have random pipes and holes in the yard that the new guy can't even tell us what they're for. He says the company has no record of this and he can't explain it just that its incorrect. He then said he can't finish the job the other guy started because there's no directions for the toilet. yikes Also, we got a new refridgerator so they installed a new line for the fridge. They installed in on the floor instead of the wall with HOT WATER! After all of these problems, they agreed to refund 40 % of the bill and installed a new faucet in the front yard complimentary. Guess what they use! They used PEX pipe for outside where the sun hits! They won't refund the full amount, stating that ""some of the stuff works."" This is unacceptable behavior in any profession but hard to state the feeling of violation when someone takes advantage of you like this in your home. I lost not only my money but time and also they caused me a lot of stress. Travis just moved from Oklahoma and told us that he has a lot of experience but he did a terrible job already. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

I had to wait practically 2 weeks to have one of Steve's Plumbing men come and repair a leaking hot water pipe that was for and outdoor shower. Now after spending some $1400 for the repair,,,,,, I go to use the shower only to discover the plumber turned off the cold water supply. And I have guests arriving today. When I called yesterday the receptionist was great and assured me they would have a man around this morning between 8-10, I was thrilled. Then I got a call saying they had to reschedule between 1-3 ,,,, not really convenient because I had other things to get done today instead of waiting at home all day. It's now 3 and still no sign of a plumber,,,, my guests have arrived and after a long flight want to shower,,,,,,, well I'm sorry you have to wait because Steve's Plumbing cannot follow their scheduled times. That sort of service / false information ,,,, totally sucks.
