Overpriced!!!!! $1200.00. For 2 valves. Told them No. paid the $54.00 fee to visit me. LOL Maui plumbing did the job. $275.00 (I purchased the parts.) NOT Kidding.... Crazy right?!

They promised a time frame came very late with no interest in working just tell me they would bring an instrument to find the leak for almost 400. I knew where the leak was and fixed it myself in an hour for about 3.00 in parts. Totally misdiagnosed the issue and lied about multiple leaks and high pressure. Incompetent measured pressure with water off and said it is too low then when I said the water is off as you asked he switched to the pressure is too high. It was not and I verified that. Do yourself a favor and do it yourself but don't call a plumber especially from this company

Awesome service. Called in and someone actually answered the phone. I had live follow up until Ross came by to see my needs!! Highly recommend this company!! Stunning workmanship. Not the usual delay of Maui service. I think you will be impressed!!hire them! Avoid costly mistakes with other plumbers. Choose Steve's plumbing services!!

Horribly overpriced. Never call Steve's Plumbing. Commercial on TV makes me sick as I was charged 5x the cost of a garbage disposal.

Extremely overpriced. Received quote for water heater that was almost $1000 more than another plumber. Had other work done with this company as well and the prices were outrageous for what was done. Definitely trying to rip you off for being ""on an island"". Get other quotes!

STEVES PLUMBING IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. I a total of 8,000 for 2 separate issues that should have cost me only 4,500. It's very clear they sensed my desperation, took advantage of the fact I wasn't on site and then tried to rip me off even more by charging me double what the second plumber said he would have charged me. Having to call them up for a 3rd time in 2 weeks they wanted to charge me $250 to replace a $30 wax seal, that I could have did be myself!!! A clogged main line and water heater replacement was estimated to be 4,500 with Kelly's plumbing. He was amazing and fixed my water pressure regulator, replaced wax rings on two of my toilets that were leaking and replaced the bulb in the top of the toilet that was constantly running increasing my water bill to 200 last month for only parts because he felt so horrible for the amount of money Steve's plumbing charged me. I will be calling now to CANCEL my ohana plan.....don't buy into their scam....

Thiago Santos and Colin Miller did a terrific job on the installation of a master back-flow prevention valve and new hose bib. I'm thrilled with their work. They showed up at my house within an hour after I called and were courteous and professional. They advised me on the pros and cons of the back-flow prevention valve and recommended ways to make the relocation of the hose bib more aesthetically pleasing and maximize the number of spigots on the line. Thiago also helped me set the timer settings for my solar hot water heater which had never been correctly set since its installation. I'm now a dedicated Steve's Plumbing Service fan.

I LOVE Steve's Plumbing. I have used them both on Maui and Oahu and they are fantastic. They answer the phone 24/7 and are so nice and helpful. Their technicians have always been knowledgeable and friendly. When they send someone out to you, you will receive an e-mail with a picture of whoever is coming. Before they do any work, they check with you and tell you what they are going to do, they warranty their work and they send before and after pictures. Unfortunately, I have had to use them a lot because we have some old rentals that need a lot of help but I totally trust them and will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs on Maui and Oahu.

Ridiculous Estimate I had new countertops installed in my condo's kitchen and bathroom vanity. I had new sinks and new faucets that just needed to be hooked up. I called them to come out. Everything was great with them, the booking, the communication about time of arrival, etc. When they got here they took pictures of everything and went back down to their van to work up the estimate. When they came back up, about 1/2 hour later, they gave me a $950 estimate for hooking up two sinks. I asked them how long the job would take. There were two of them and they said it would take 2-3 hours. There was not any parts involved, this was just labor - and I am not a math major, but I surmised that their rate was about $316-475 per hour. Since they sent two people, if they were charging me for both individually, the rate would have been $158-$237 per hour (more reasonable) - but it would be for 4-6 hours of labor to hook up two sinks. When I asked them if this is what their rate was, they said they don't charge by the hour that it was a fixed fee. They said they could cut $100 from the charge. They also said they were a big company and had a lot of overhead and so it cost a little more with them. I immediately just paid their $40 service fee for coming out and let them leave. They were both polite, courteous, and professional; and I am guessing it was somebody they sent the pictures to that gave the estimate, so I don't fault either of them individually - but that estimate seemed extremely high to me. The next time, I contacted a different plumber who came out on a Saturday and did the job for me. Took him less than 1 hour and only cost me $80. He did an excellent job, at less than 1/10th of the cost of Steve's.
