I was overseas for work and of course our toilet springs a leak while I'm away. A cracked tank according to Steve's plumbing. The only one at home at the time of repair was my elderly father. Since there was a time difference where I was I told my dad to just get a quote to install a new toilet. My intent was to buy a new one from Lowes or Home Depot when I got back. The next day I find out the plumber from Steve's Plumbing talked my elderly dad into paying $2,100 to install a ""standard"" toilet! Crazy! I've since gotten multiple quotes that average $500 for the labor to install a new toilet. I've left a message here on Yelp and a voicemail with no response. I'm not sure if the plumbers work on commission but I think they totally take advantage of the elderly. Beware.

You can stop searching/googling plumbing reviews. The repair, installation, consulting, just stops here. The pricing, quality of work, timely response, customer relations exceeded my expectations. In my particular situation the crew had to redo my attempt at being a plumber wannabe. In addition to the traditional plumbing tasks Steve's crew provided education on how to purchase, the best brands of tools and even how to repair and/or replace the mistakes I made. My technicians, Jeremy Thomason and Korey, deserve kudos for modeling Steve's Plumbing's core values of excellence and customer service. These two were the best of the best, the TOP GUNS of plumbing. So, if you're looking at pricing, best return on investment, quality, outstanding customer service, reliability and an organization that celebrates and models the ""Aloha"" spirit, Steve's Plumbing is the place.

This company is a complete scam. Paid for a $99 AC Tune up, and then they come out, do an inspection and try to charge me $600 for routine maintenance. The guy tells me.. well it's not actually a tune up. It's more of an inspection. Tune up means maintenance. Inspection is an inspection. Had their plumber come out last week and try to charge me $450 for a new fill valve in a toilet. When I asked him for an itemized invoice, he replied that they don't have that. They just give me an estimate off the top of their head. Save your money and your time and go elsewhere

Ok 2 months ago my drain was clogged and called root-rooter. They actually got the clogged out but they managed to destroy my new flooring and carpet in the process. Finally after 2 months, we got everything replaced and my drains clogged again. Already had a bad experience with root-rooter, decided to call Steve's because I dealt with them a couple times. It was late in the day, so I seen they were 24/7. I said perfect! I must say the person on the phone was very friendly and we had a quick response. Everything seem to be going well, I seen the process before and it looked like he knew was doing, but here is where it all turned. The tech just put a camera through the pipes and said there was no clog but didn't even come in to check if the problem was solved. So, he left and I flushed the toilet and it still was backing up. I called back 15 minutes after he left and the dispatcher put me on hold for 10 minutes and asked if they could call me back, I said fine. No call back for an hour, so I called and I got an answering machine. WTF I thought they were 24/7, so I left a message and decided to go to their site. I got to chat with the not so helpful, mainland answering service, which they sent a message, like 2 times and still no response. Finally they got in contact with the tech and said he didn't find anything and didn't bother to come back. After the holiday, hopefully I get a follow up because our toilets are still backing up and do the job correctly. Then I'll update the review. Update day 3. Yes I'm done with these guys, left multiple messages and no call back, basically took my money and ran. Their call center sent massages at least 4 times to the main office and I left 3 messages and still no response. Hate to leave a bad review but if the lazy tech would've came inside the house and corrected the problem, I wouldn't leave a bad comment. Update. Customer service did call back and was very nice and helpful. Gave me the option of having them return but it would be tomorrow. I declined because it was an emergency and needed it today, but he gave me assurance that I could give them a call if the new company can't fix the problem. Gave 1 more star for customer service, 1 bad apple shouldn't reflect on everyone.

Mahalo to plumber Robert G.,Jr. of Steve's Plumbing for his re-service on our water pipe to our exterior water faucet. He took the time to secure the necessary parts and returned and wow! he did an excellent job and the professional service he provided. I would recommend asking for him. Way over priced!!!!!!!!!The price of a home mortgage payment to flush a line! $3,000.00!!! No parts needed to be repaired or replaced, no digging for pipes. Just clearing a grease clog. Still recovering from sticker shock. The product they use can be ordered from Amazon for under $50.00. Wish I would have known.

Had 2 unpleasant experiences with this company. We have a north shore property that was having excessive fresh water bills a few years ago. Called them for a quote to locate the leak on the 3 acre property. They quoted us $30,000 to run new lines instead of locating the problem. Called another plumber and they isolated and fixed the issue for $600. Earlier this year on a home purchase the seller's agent had Steves crew over the day before closing to unclog a toilet backup. They claimed to have fixed it. After we took possession the clogs resumed. Had another plumber scope it and find other issues that Steves ignored or didn't discover. $4000 later plumbing is working fine. Time to report on these losers as one of their crews is working down the street from us. Looked like Steve himself arguing with the neighbor while his crew split in a low rider with pakaloa leaf on the door.

Great service and they cared about my home and treated it as their own. Very customer friendly and explained how they had to repair and provided options and accurate estimate for their service. They cleaned up after they finished and I would highly recommend them.
