Steve Silva Plumbing helped me with a kitchen remodel. The quality of the work was outstanding. I received a weekly schedule of activities so that I would know what was happening each and every day. Steve checked in daily to ensure that all was on track. The project finished on time and on budget and the results were beautiful. Steve and his staff were professional, reliable and dependable. They never left the house messy, always put their tools away and swept the floor before they left. That experience sold me on Steve Silva Plumbing. I have used them subsequently to replace toilets, and a water heater. Again, they arrived on time and did an exemplary job. I am happy to recommend Steve Silva Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

These are the guys you want at your house when you have a plumbing emergency on a Sunday morning. They were fast, friendly, professional and tidy! Would definitely recommend and will use them again, if a problem arises.

The first issue with Steve Silva Plumbing arose when a technician showed up for an appointment and got upset that I asked him to grab booties for his shoes. He through his equipment down in my garage and then he slammed the door open to the house. I told him he was not welcome and needed to leave. He then proceeded to make what I perceived as veiled threats as he walked back to his vehicle. I notified the company and they said they would send someone else out. Wonderful response. No apology at all.

The second issue with Steve Silva Plumbing happened recently. I scheduled time off work for Friday 8/31 because I had scheduled multiple vendors to come to the house all on the same day at different intervals. When it came time for the plumber to show up between 3p-5p on Friday, no one came. I called on Friday around 5pm to notify them that no one showed up. I didn't receive a call back until Tuesday 9/4 and the message said that my appointment was for Thursday 8/30 and if I wanted to reschedule it I could. However, no one called on Thursday 8/30 (at the time they said my appointment was) and my wife was home that day. And because I had made the appointment 3 weeks in advance for all the vendors, I know what date and time the appointment was scheduled. The receptionist did place me on hold multiple time to answer other calls and repeated the date and time back to me incorrectly at least twice. After getting back from a vacation I called on Monday 9/10 to reschedule the plumber as the message stated. I asked the receptionist if the plumber could come Friday 9/14 after I get off of work at 4:30p. The receptionist said she would have to get back to me. I hadn't heard back from anyone so I called on Wednesday 9/12 and left a vm with the answering service. This morning I get a message saying that they contacted my landlord and they would not be doing any work at the property. When I called to inquire as to why, Tracy only said that the she ""would not talk with me about it and that the Operations Manager decided it.""

These are just the facts from my interactions with representatives of Steve Silva Plumbing. I would not recommend them and I will be making sure to share my experience with everyone I know via word of mouth and other social media platforms.

Thank you for the criticism of my review and your semi-eloquent plug for your business. It's unfortunate that you as a business owner DO NOT TAKE ANY responsibility for either situation I noted and only try to demonize me. Let's put this in perspective...

First: Someone on your staff was asked to leave because of his behavior and then proceeded to make veiled threats to me, including telling me that he is friends with the landlord's son.

Second: Someone on your staff booked an appointment incorrectly. Someone on your staff did not show up for the appointment and did not call. Someone on your staff called the landlord to try deflect responsibility and point to me as the cause.

It is clear to me that you will not learn anything from this and take no responsibility for your staff's missteps. Thank you for making these things clear and I will continue to pass this around to folks and ensure everyone understands how you respond to problems caused by your staff.

We recently discovered that some small but numerous plumbing issues had arisen in our 1960's home, and we were so grateful to work with the owner and crew of Steve Silva Plumbing! The team's professionalism and courtesy were exemplary, and their speed and craftsmanship were exceptional. They were at our door exactly when they had scheduled, and completely negated the stereotype of plumbers we see in movies, presenting as neat, professional, and gracious communicators. Their estimate and prices are well documented, and really reasonable, and I will absolutely use them as the need arises. I cannot recommend Steve Silva Plumbing enough!

I have used Steve Silva Plumbing on a number of occasions. Their service is outstanding. Not only were we given immediate attention, and all their employees extremely polite and personable, but they found and fixed the source of a leak when no one else could. We were amazed and pleased at how efficiently their serviceman repaired the leak while minimizing cost. At the same time, there was no problem having him diagnose and fix a little, ""while you are here, would you take a look at..."" I would not hesitate to use Steve Silva Plumbing for any job, large all small.

A technician from Steve Silva arrived to install a new thermocouple on my 6 year old water heater (originally from Steve Silva). He informed me he did not have the correct parts and they would have to be ordered by overnight delivery. He charged me $40 for the house call. The following day the parts had arrived and he returned around 6:00PM to install them. I was charged $674 for this service. He was at my home approximately 30-40 minutes. Shortly thereafter, a smell in my home began to develop and gradually became worse. Because it was faint at first, I didn't suspect the water heater. After a week, the smell intensified and I tracked it down to the above water heater. When I opened the closet door where the heater was installed, the smell was intense. I immediately called PG&E. They arrived within 45 minutes and their scanner detected a strong gas leak from the connection tubing to the control valve The PG&E serviceman repaired the leak and his jaw dropped when I told him how much I had been charged for the thermocouple assembly. He told me they usually retail for $15!

I visited the Steve Silva location the following day and asked to speak with Gene in the office, in charge of customer service. Gene was out of the office so I left copies of the paperwork from PG&E with the receptionist and requested some kind of compensation from the original $674. I had to take time away from my job to deal with the gas leak and did not feel this was an unusual request. SHOCK: NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE1

When you approach their office door, there is a banner stating they are Number One in Customer Service! Don't get ripped off by this claim!

We always can count on a fair estimate and fast service. The quality of work is outstanding. We never have to call them back a second time. Everything is done right the first time.

By far the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing company! The moment I called Steve silva plumbing for the leak in my house I knew I made the right choice! The lady that I spoke to on the phone was super friendly and professional! She was able to send a plumber right away!
The plumber was extremely nice and professional, he assured me that the problem would be fixed and I didn't have to worry about it any longer. He did amazing job and the leak issue was resolved!

I have used Steve Silva Plumbing for all my plumbing needs since I moved to Napa in 1999. They have always offered a fair price and top-notch quality service. I have not had any problems with Steve Silva Plumbing in the 17 years that I have used them. So, I chose to have them do a complete remodel of my master bathroom.

The remodel turned out better than I could have imagined!!!
Steve Silva and his remodel crew were friendly, helpful, accommodating, neat and professional from start to finish. I first met with Steve to go over my ideas. I wanted the bathroom to be beautiful as well as functional. He offered his suggestions and then I met with the rest of the crew. We all discussed the specifics of the remodel and then they began the work.
Steve, Adam, Will, Tony, George, the electricians and the shower door installers were all amazing! I was thrilled with the attention to detail and excellent suggestions that each person working on my project provided. I felt as if each one was treating my remodel like they were doing work on their own houses.
My remodeled master bathroom is indeed just as beautiful as it is functional. It truly looks amazing.
I would definitely recommend Steve Silva Plumbing to anyone considering a remodel project or needing the services of a plumber.
