Steve is the MOST EXPENSIVE plumber you will ever find. He fixed a shower handle, in 2 weeks it came out - he comes to fix it and charge another $65... found it really ridiculous. I am never going to hire Steve (SK Plumbing for any job) and will NEVER recommend to any friend .

Steve was my 6th calls on a Saturday night. He picked up the phone promptly and came in less than 20 minutes. He evaluated the situation and got straight to work. After 1.5 hrs, he was done. Price was completely reasonable for coming out on Saturday night. I will be calling Steve to follow up with some maintenance. This business is highly recommended.

I am an apartment Manager of an apartment complex, The owner has used Steve on and off but I am sure that we will be using him from now on. The owner hired stove to change the Water heater of our complex, after many estimates he was the most reasonable price around. He completed the change Friday but soon determined a problem and with the weekend ahead the work he could continue to do was limited, specially on a 3 day holiday weekend.

Steve went out of his way to buy another smaller capacity water heater and hooked it up temporarily to ensure the building had hot water for the weekend until they were able to fix the main unit.

I though that was over the top, the most professional thing he could of done. I will for sure make sure the owner knows the job he did and I am sure I will continue to see him again.

We hired Steve to fix our leaking sink in the bathroom. He had to try 3 times and charged us $225, however our sink still leaking, it got worse. I asked for the refund and Steve concluded that the sink is not fixable, he used the wrong part and he was not willing to honor the 30-day money back warranty.

needed to have a leaky kitchen faucet replaced and I needed it done this week. Steve K came highly recommended by referral company Red Beacon. called yesterday and he showed up this morning a couple min early. he was thorough in removing the old fixture all the while answering my questions. the new fixture is lovely and firmly in place. no leaks, drips or dribbling. He was very thorough, but only took a reasonable amount of time. There was a washer that was the wrong size and he dealt with it (I know some jobs take longer than others...) the cost came in close to his estimate and it all came out fair; a trustworthy guy that I would call again and refer to loved ones. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of these guys. DO NOT call them or even think about using them. They played me ""we will be there in an hour"", I called them an hour later ""we will be there in an hour"", again and again. Finally after the 5th time they called me and said that they couldn't make it today. Meanwhile water is spilling on my floor. I would strangle them it I could. Do not call these guys ... ever.

I was disappointed that Steve manipulated the terms of our engagement to slyly back out of his 30-day money back guarantee. He was unwilling to come back to my house and suggest how the problem he claimed to fix could be permanently solved.


A working solution was eventually suggested by another plumber. The fix was so simple, I was dumbfounded to think that Steve was unwilling to offer the same simple solution. His license number is #965536 and I would highly suggest skipping this guy and going to the next contractor.

On a Sunday afternoon, Steve
- answered the phone himself,
- showed up 30 minutes after I'd called, a bit earlier than he'd said he would,
- pulled rather a lot of little tree root tangles out of our drainage pipe with a 100ft sewer snake, fixing the clog
- gave us some advice on what would have to be done to ultimately fix the problem, and what might be going on with the pipe in general
- was pleasant and professional to deal with all-around, which is nice given that having a person dig through the stuff in one's clogged sewer pipe is always a bit awkward.

I decided to change myself the faucet, and that didn't work out. I called several people and one wanted $400!!! I found Steve! He came 30 min after i called him!! What a gem!! He charged me only 120 bucks... The old faucet was stuck and rusted and he was very patient and professional. He did a awesome job!! He is very nice, and honest, Very professional! Awesome! Thank you for saving my day!!!!
