How do I love thee, Steve Garrison Plumbing! 75 gallons, worth.

We had 3 plumbers come out after our hot water recirc pump stopped working in mid-December. We were considering replacing the entire 75 gal. unit with a tankless, or replace the tank and get a new recirc pump. Choices, choices. Plumber #1 charged us to test the gas flow for a tankless. He never looked at the recirc pump, other than to say, yep, it stopped working. He sent two estimates for tank/tankless. They were quite a bit more than a company from Sacramento, who bid on it after I sent in photos. (But it was $275 for that 15 min. gas manometer test!) (So, technically 4 plumbers, just one did it via text, so never came out.)

Plumber #2 came out, looked at the set up, tested the power to make sure it was actually getting to the recirc. pump, then left, supposedly to give us estimates. Never. Got. Back. To. Us. Okay, fine. Didn't want the job.

Plumber #3 came out, took a look, got back to us very quickly with estimates, way cheaper than anyone else, but turns out he was unlicensed. He had the experience, but we're not about to risk a water heater replacement with an unlicensed contractor. Should something go wrong, my insurance company would point out the error of my ways. But a small repair he could do, and I asked him if he'd at least replace the recirc pump, but he didn't want the job.

Finally, saw nice reviews on Steve Garrison Plumbing. I called this morning. Left my info. Got a call back this afternoon from Jordan. He came out, looked at the setup, saw power was at the plug. Dismantled the recirc. pump. Found out a rock had gotten inside (probably from a kitchen remodel the year before). Blew out the rock. Reassembled the unit. The pump works. Took about an hour. Charged me for an hour's work. The price was less than half of what the first guy charged me for the 10 min. it took to run the gas test.

All I can say is that when it comes time to replace that behemoth tank, or switch it out for a tankless, I know who I'll be calling. Steve Garrison Plumbing.

Amazing service! We had our water heater go out on us. The needed part wasn't expected to be in for another 3-4 days but Steve was able to find it in stock nearby.
Immediately purchased the part, then his worker Jimmy stopped by to do the install.

A+ service all around, from top to bottom. I would not hesitate to request service again if anything else goes out. One of the best experiences!

This is the second time that Garrison Plumbing has serviced our tankless water heater. The first time they were 5 stars and it was no different this time.

Well except that I did have an issue a few hours after they completed the service. The unit stopped dispensing hot water! I called the number at about 8:30 and left a message. Less than 15 minutes later I had someone at my taking care of business. No excuses and no grumbling.

He diagnosed the issue and had hot water flowing in short order.

I was having problems with my water heater. I checked with several businesses and a good friend ended up giving me Steve's information. When I called him, he asked some questions and he requested that I send him some pictures. He got back to me and he provided me with a solid quote, as well a some great information. He fit me into his schedule within a very reasonable amount of time.

Mike and Gene showed up as promised. They did a great job. They were both respectful of my property and they answered all of the questions I had. They finished the job faster than expected, saving me money!

Our toilets and shower were backing up and another plumber came out this morning and said they can't fix my problem because he couldn't find the main clean out. I called Steve Garrison Plumbing and spoke to Jimmy. He came right over and tried to find the clean out with no luck. He called another employee, Alex, who had the tools on his truck to locate the sewer line. Together they located the sewer line and will be installing a clean out in the near future.
They were able to clear the back up in my house using the kitchen clean out. Alex will also be installing 2 new toilets for me when I get them.
I just want to thank Jimmy and Alex for all their help today. I really appreciate it!!!
