They showed up on time and installed plumbing under the sink and a garbage disposal. One of the lines installed leaked, but we fixed it with some plumbers tape. Water pressure was low to hot water and we discovered it was connected to the wrong outlet. Not their fault since the correct line was hidden about 1/2"" below the cabinet--so we installed it ourself. They were unable to install the reverse osmosis filter as it was incompatible with our faucet. I returned the filter to the store already.

Overall, they did a beautiful job on the plumbing under the sink. I lowered a star because there were some communication issues during the installation and the leak.

It's a great family business with low overhead. Highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I have used Claflin Plumbing about a dozen times for everything from a total house remodel, installing new water heaters, to changing cartridges in kitchen and bath faucets. I have always been pleased with Steve and his son's courtesy and professionalism. I also enjoyed the experience when contacting his wife, Donna C., when I needed service as she was always very friendly and called us back when we had questions. In fact, I started teasing my wife that she had a new BFF in Donna as she would be the one receiving calls for updates and seemed to talk a while during each call. A good company to deal with and I will not hesitate in the future to use them once again.

Mr. Clafin is very professional, however his wife who runs the office end of the business is unprofessional and rude. Our initial call was prompted by a foul smell in the plumbing of our downstairs bathroom. The service call ended with the changing of the studor vent in the kitchen. The bathroom smell returned a few weeks later and they came back and charged us a second service call for the same problem. The studor vent was changed in the bathroom and we received a bill for a second trip service call. When we called to discuss the bill and highlighted the fact that if both vents were changed during the first visit a second visit would not have been required, we were met with a very curt and incredulous conversation with Mrs. Clafin who said no way would they waive or reduce the second service call. Finally, after a second call, she waived 25$. Sadly, I will never call them again, solely because of the wife's bad attitude.

I called to get an estimate on repairing pipes. They told me that it was too small a job to warrant an in-person estimate but that a plumber would call me back and discuss it with me on the phone. Nobody ever called me back. I guess they only take jobs that cost a lot of money.

I feel comfortable having him in my home, and confident in the work he's done.
