I was in a real pinch last week when my 3 year old water heater decided to try and set itself ablaze. The water heater was covered under warranty by the manufacturer but I was on my own to find a plumber, and Steve stepped up to the task of picking up this nightmare in the middle and resolving it all in short order. Steve was clear on the phone about his availability, even apologetic that he was booked for the next 36 hours, and was upfront with his estimate. The installation went off without a hitch, Steve kept a clean worksite and took the time to discuss some future plumbing options. Do not hesitate to give Steve a call.

We had a pretty bad sewage leak from our basement bathroom last night. I called Steve, who I found here on Yelp. He called me back and said he would be at my house in two hours. Sure enough he was in my bathroom fixing it within two hours.
Steve is wonderful to work with and his prices are very affordable especially for a last minute emergency call.
Steve does great work and I won't use anyone else in the future. I highly recommend Steve Burke Plumbing.

Steve was perfect - hence five stars. He was personable, knowledgeable, able to explain what he saw was the problem, answered the phone and returned phone calls, was able to articulate a few options with their various perks and pitfalls, and then to simply get the job done.

When the immediate problem was resolved, he took some of his time to educate us on some of the options we could pursue to more completely resolve our issue/concerns.

We plan on working with Mr Burke again.

Steve was as professional as I would hope that all plumbers should be. I had just moved into a new (to me) home and was struggling to find contractors in the area. Steve was prompt and professional. DON'T USE: I called a lot of plumbers all of them said they wouldn't beable to do anything for a week. Found Steve Burke Plumbilng on HomeAdvisor he call me in
mins. I told him a pipe under my son house broke, it was the bath tub and it broke about 2/3 inches from the elbow. He said he was finishing up at a job and would call me so I could meet him. We met at 4:30p (it was raining very hard) the ground was soaked I show him where the door to crawl spaace was and he would come tomorrow. He when in the house to see where the bathroom was.He told me it would take 2/3 hours and it would be $600.00 (which I thought was high but a week with no tub) He arrived @ 10:02 and left @ 11:20. He called me and I ask him what do I owe you. He said $600.00 I said for one hour work and said that's what he told me but that was 2/3 hours not any hour work. He said I put a new 0shut on/off vaive in the tub ( no call to see if I want it just did it) Then it was $150.00 because it was a crawl space ( never said that the night before) It was a $600. mistake. HomeAdvisor said it should have cost $400:00 As stated it is my son house who is Kidney Failure and can't live alone, so I think Burke OH rental property well he badly mistaken he doesn't the medical bills

Steve Burke Plumbing was contracted to change external sump pumps in two dry wells and also replace the GFI outlets that power the sump pumps. After two months, the front pump is not working and the back GFI outlet is out as well. Not less than 10 calls have been made over one week, but each time a pleasant reply greets us that someone will be down to assess the problem. A service call that takes more than a week to respond to is absolutely annoying.
