About a month and a half ago I called Steve Alvarado Roofing to see if they could help me figure out what was causing mold and water damage in the interior of a home, specifically in the kitchen/bathroom area which are adjacent to each other.

They said they could go out to give a FREE inspection, which I agreed to. Steve Alvarado himself arrived and took about 10 minutes to look at the roof from the outside. At the end of the inspection he said there might be a leak, but wasn't sure. To be certain he'd have to do a water leak test, so we scheduled one for a few days later.

This part is important: He said he would *take pictures of any findings and repairs that he would do*. Furthermore, I would be onsite during this process to see the work he was doing, however, he arrived about 20 minutes earlier so I personally was not home, but someone else was. By the time I arrived (about 15 minutes later), he had already finished.

I had no idea what HE ACTUALLY DID, since he didn't take pictures as promised, but he said he had sealed a small crevice. I asked what exactly did he seal it with and he was very vague. I even asked what color was the sealant so that I could go up the attic/roof and see for myself.

He ended charging $600 ($350 water leak test + $250 for the ""mystery repair"" ) and to this day I have no idea what he sealed exactly as I was not there and he never took pictures as he had mentioned. I felt pretty much scammed. I will never use their service again!

Steve provides great and reliable service! He helped fixed a roof leak for me. He really knows his stuff and is just an overall good dude. Highly recommend!

Our roof was in bad shape and needed to be repaired before we could paint the outside of the house. We called Steve Alvarado and he made an appointment right away to give us an estimate. His price was very reasonable for the amount of work needed. They started work the next day and completed the job in 3 days. Steve and his crew were very professional and respectful. They did an amazing job and cleaned up at the completion of the job. Which to us says a lot about a crew if they clean up behind themselves. Thank you Steve and crew! Great Job!

Honest and best price for widening my valleys on my tile roof! I called 5 different companies and for 7 valleys sawed and fixed and all skylights sealed we are very happy. Thank god for Steve
