I ran into an issue with a stuck gate valve that required shutting down the supply line to the building with 34 units in it. I went through another company initially to diagnose the issue which was 100% correct that the valve was fouled. Well, the HOA / PM Co. stopped us from working on the issue further due to needing to cut the supply off to the building to perform the repair on a Saturday.

The PM Co. contacted S&K after the extended period of time I had been without water and the owner of the co. showed up who had initially plumbed the building during construction back in 2004 showed up with one of his guys to assess the issue and promptly restored service to my unit.

At this point I had been w/o water service since Friday @ 10pm and the new valve was in place by Monday @ 6pm. I had to wait for the PVC Cement to cure but, the next morning was able to open the valve slowly to purge the air from the lines and then any residual that may have been in the lines from the replacement. Since the replacement it seems like there's better water flow from the taps as well which leads me to think that the gate valve was compromised and not 100% open before the issue occurred.

If you're in a mid-rise or higher these are the right people to call. They may not have the flashy web page or quote on Yelp but, you're in great hands and need help with your water issues.

**I had a couple of other minor things going on and asked about them and got advice on how to correct them on my own or outsource to another to resolve. I managed to fix and diagnose the other items to resolution with their advice outside of the initial call reason.

Clever people when it comes to finding tricky leaks.

I had a leak and wasn't sure where it was coming from. Spoke to David who advised me to save some money and investigate myself. So I opened the ceiling and thought I found the problem. Peter came around, and thought I was right. Then pulled the toilet off, and told me I was wrong. Then after some time, he then proved himself wrong and found the real culprit. Kathy, the operator figured I need a critical thinker to figure this out and she was right. Amazing team, and I will be calling and recommending them to others every chance I get.

Nobody ever wants to call the plumber. But if you have to, you want someone who is efficient, effective, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
