Great service. I took in an old faucet that service America said was of poor quality and to get a new one that they would install for $150. Len had the part to fix the existing one and informed us that it was a top of the line faucet. Saved about $500.

Some of the most rude staff you could find in a selling establishment, skinny guy with long beard receives you with a burp and before you can even finish what you need he says they don't have it. Beware owner this guy is chasing clientele away.

Negative star. Horrible customer service and the staff is very condescending. Not certain how a company could remain in business this long. They remind me of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi character. In addition, the dude that took care of me was not even that Knowledgeable - Treated me like I was an alien wasting his time and made it sound like part was impossible to find. So I left , went to ACE hardware and replaced 6 O rings and the problem was resolved and it cost me $2 dollars and 40 cents. Stern Brothers is an old school place that treat customers like crap and should not be in business. """"No soup for you !!! .. Next!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Stern Brothers to find out if they had a part in stock and was about to dictate the part number when I was very dismissively interrupted. The person started into saying that there will be an 80% chance that the number I'll give is incorrect. So I attempted to explain that I live in an apartment building where every unit has the same fixtures. He obviously wasn't listening and continued to insist I'd have it wrong. When my husband called again to give it a try, the person was again curt and rude to him. Competence is no excuse for a lack of manners.

The bolt that holds the handle in for my toilet broke. I went in and asked if they had a replacement. They told me it was """"reverse threaded and had to bet special ordered and would cost $150. It was a Mexican Toilet."""" the handle wasn't Mexican."""" I knew the handle was most likely made in China. and you could most likely buy a whole new handle setup for less than $20. But I got to the hardware store where they sold me the bolt for $.99. These are awful people and thieves. The clerk's name was Howard. When I called he wouldn't come to the phone.

This company has been in business for a long time in Miami and there is a reason why. They are the """"go to"""" place for plumbers, contractors and DIYers for plumbing situations. Courteous and helpful. They were the only place in Miami that had the toilet seat that I needed - last one in stock. I bought it and then dropped it and broke it in the parking lot. I went back inside and they said """"no problem"""" and ordered me a new one - no charge. Who does that?

Went looking for the parts for our Kohler shower. The clerk handed me two small envelopes with no name in them and told me the cost was $107. I thought considering out plumber had mentioned they should cost around $15 each I questioned the price, was told anything Kohler is expensive. Since I didnt have my credit card with me and they dont they checks I left thinking of coming back later, A neighbor mentioned I should try Ferguson, so I did, and Surprise, I got the same parts, in their original Kohler wrapping and paid $13.40 for each, never will be back to Stern, I am a Ferguson client now.

This place is absolutely amazing, very professional and very friendly. They have a knowledgeable staff that can answer questions and give me options on every plumbing need I have had to date. Even in a phone call they asked me to send them a picture of what I was talking about and when I called them back they were able to access it and tell me exactly what I needed. Absolutely amazing. I've had nothing but good experiences every time I come to the store. The staff is patient and helpful and not only provides me the parts I'm looking for but instructs me on how to install them correctly.

I broke my hand held shower and went in to replace a part which was stuck and unusable. They were very nice. They informed me they didn't have the part but asked if they could open it. They opened it for me, gave me some tape, told me how to fix it, and didn't charge me for anything. This is despite me asking if it didn't work if they had shower heads I could buy. They helped me solve my problem instead of pushing a sale. Next time I need to buy a new plumbing part, I will be stopping by there.
