I'm not sure what to say. I called to ask to pay over the phone and said my plumber was there for a valve core. I'm sure they bent backwards to find it. EXPENSIVE!!!. I think you need to love your business before anything. For sure a seminar in customer service would help. Not everyone drink vinagre for bfast. The older guy was nice enough to explain. The world loves you. Love them back. Peace

I went to Stern's Brothers plumbing supply and I had a bad experience with a sales associate that works in this location. I was in the store to purchase a piece I needed for my toilet, and I asked the associate to help me find the product. I showed him a picture of exactly what I needed to buy, and he sold me the wrong item. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed he sold me the incorrect piece. So when I went back to the plumbing supply to get him to exchange the incorrect item he sold me for what i really needed, he refused to exchange the product because it was """"already open"""". I couldn't get my money back or an exchange. I had to repurchase the the correct item. The sales associate was very rude and made big scene in front of other customers and employees. and the store owner was right next to us and he didn't say anything about the way he was speaking to me, or how he didn't even try to help me fix the problem he created, or give decent customer service. In other words do not waste your time coming here, it is not worth it. You can basically end up ordering the products you might need online with out having to go into the store and deal with the associates who don't pay attention to detail when they are shown exactly what the customer needs, and you avoid the rude customer service they give there.

The worst customer service I have had in a while. The fat fucks who work there treat you as though they are doing you a favor. Bought what I needed and returned it an hour later just because I couldn't get over the treatment. Their prices aren't even that good. Do yourself a favor and find other places to get your plumbing items.

A+ service & expertise! CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!! Home Depot - 1.5 hours w/tech , 3 trips Lowes - 1 hour w/tech, 1 trip Ferguson's - 30 minutes and they recommended Stern Bros. I thought it'd be another wasted trip to find a 1968 replace my kit but once I entered and showed the pieces to Ralph, Mike had literally pulled it off their shelf before I had time to reel in the fact they even carried it...he seriously did it in less than 10 seconds. If the fascination with them having it wasn't enough, Ralph pulled it out of the box and showed me what would be needed and what wouldn't considering all the parts I had and the configuration. To add icing on the cake, he offered a 10% military discount even though I left my ID at the house.

Avoid the most obnoxious rude staff I've have experienced in a service based business. I went in to get a toilet seat for a high-end Toto toilet, I asked Reggie if he can open the box and he reluctantly did, but the seat was also wrapped in a plastic but was not sealed it was opened on one end. I requested that we remove the plastic so I could see that it fit the one I was replacing, he commented saying no I can't do that because then I can't sell it as new. I told him it's not sealed we can re-bag it's not like were installing it on a toilet. At which point he put the seat back in the box and kicked me out of the establishment. His attitude was horrible if you look on Google or Yahoo at the reviews you'll see how obnoxious these guys are I even called the mother store and Roger answered I told him the story and he said that's absolutely unnecessary and that he should of showed me the toilet seat and said that he was the fat guy right.. I didn't want to call him fat but Roger did, I guess he already knew who it was that was turning their customers away. Why they allow this type of idiot to deal with customers on the front line is beside me but I would say go to Home Depot and save 30% I ordered it online free shipping and paid $39 instead of 60 bucks! Google the business and look at the same reviews treats people horrible and is super obnoxious And the best part shop elsewhere and save 30%!!!

After a few failed attempts by professional plumbers to fix our leaking kitchen faucet, my husband decides to take matter into his own hands. We came to this place, and after discussing the issue, was given some parts and DIY tips. Needless to say, problem solved. Awesome, friendly service.

This is one of the worst plumbing companies I have ever dealt with. No only did they misdiagnose the plumbing problem, ($200.00 later) the men that were sent out didn't want to do the work then but gave me their personal phone number so they could do the job on the side. I had another company out who immediately corrected the problem. When I called to tell the owner of Stern Plumbing what happened he was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. BEWARE.

Pros: They may have what you need as the national guys like ferguson don't stock parts any longer locally. Cons: They will mark up your parts 10 x cost! Toilet filler $30 at stern, 10 at the depot. Not exactly the same, but both do the trick.

i have to give it to them... there are things that you can find here that Home Depot and Lowe's won't have. However, there return policy needs to be revised.... i went 3 times to return a 5$ piece of hose i didn't use. the guy (who needs serious people skills training) kept making up excuses of why he couldn't accept it. so makes me wonder, does this guy really want to loose a customer for 5$ worth of hose... well i went ahead and reported him to the business Bureau and good luck to you if trying to return anything there. So i would only recommend this place if you know exactly what you need, but don't expect a refund of any kind...

Extremely rude. You are better off w Amazon. Stern Brothers = Terrible customer service and ridiculous return policy. I bought a piece that I needed to fix my Kohler toilet. When I opened the box, the piece was broken. It had obviously been returned by previous customer and resold to me. I went back 2 days later with my receipt. Reggie gave me a huge hassle. Asked me how he knew I hadn't broken it. I explained that when I Opened it, it was broken. He said it was impossible bc he inspected every box. Obviously not, bc the box i was sold clearly had a broken piece. I didn't even want my money back, I just wanted a non-broken piece. I couldn't believe the way he was talking to me. Finally he replaced it but Im never going back. This piece was the same price in Amazon and it would have been delivered to my house the next day. They have a much better customer service policy and you don't have to deal w scumbags.
