Shane began addressing plumbing issues at the age of 14, working in the plumbing section of a small Ace Hardware store.
Over the past 20 years, he has enhanced his plumbing knowledge.
Shane holds a mechanical contractor's license in South Carolina and has a BA in English Literature from Michigan State University.
Before establishing Sterling Craft Plumbing in 2014, he gained experience at Corley Plumbing Air Electric.
Shane and Amanda have been married since 2004 and have two young daughters.
