We are not originally from the area but were referred to Stephens Plumbing and Heating. Our furnace went out last night and we called at 8a to make an appointment ideally for the same day. The secretary answering the phone said it would be a couple days before someone could come out, which is understandable with the very cold temperatures this week. My husband then asked for a referral of another company being that we were in a bind but wanted reputable service. She said she was unable to refer us to another company, it was something that they don't do. I was left in disbelief. How sad that customers would be treated that way. We called them first, they were unable to come. The correct way to run a business is to help those who need it. We won't ever refer or call this company back.

We had a waste line back up in our house on a Friday night, so we called Stephens as our prior plumbing service is out of business. Received a quick return call (within minutes) from ""Chris."" Rather than say, ""We'll be right there"" for what would be a very expensive service, he asked some questions and gave some directions on trying to see if there was a quick DIY remedy. With the assistance of a friend, I cleared (at least partially) some blockage in the outside line where we determined the issue to be. Saturday morning, line was all clear (so it seemed), but still called Tony and scheduled professional rodding of the line. Glad we did, because we had another leak on Thursday afternoon prior to our Friday appointment. Chris was here promptly at 8:40 and finished rodding the line by 9:25 removing expected tree roots for what is a flat $300 service. Very professional, efficient and did not try to push any other services on us. We truly appreciated they did not try to take advantage of an urgent situation by rushing us into emergency services at a high cost to us, and it was for these reasons that we've made them our new plumbing contractors!

They sell good quality products. I purchased equipment and installed it myself. I never ended up using them to do the actual work though because they seem a bit overpriced and I found two of their guys to be rude and offensive...to my face. One of them made a visit to my house for an estimate and seemed easily frustrated and upset that he couldn't find the main sewer line to my house and was upset that I did not know where it was. On top that, their estimate was WAY over the top. One of their younger guys is sarcastic know-it-all that will laugh in your face, and that was enough to get me go elsewhere.

Bottom line...their shop may be full of high quality supplies, but low quality, worthless plumbers.

Stephen apparently is one to not care about his name....

Honest, reliable, skilled and competent with super professional service! Robert Bair charged me a ton of money over two visits and were either too stupid or too lazy to properly check and fix the problem. Along comes Stephen's plumbing and fixed it! I will stick with Stephen's plumbing from now on.

My office just got serviced by this company and the two guys that came were very nice and were able to fix our plumbing problem right away. Not to mention that the two guys were very nice to look at as well :) We will definitely be calling them again if there is ever another problem.

This is a very reputable and decent company. I have used them in many cases. The first time was a backup of sewer water in my basement on a day I was having a big family party- of course! John came out and found that tree roots were to blame and we had it resolved in a matter of a few hours. A year later or so- we had our furnace fail in late November on a very cold night. John again came out the next morning and it was fixed by noon. They are very courteous (especially John) and neat and are also reasonable- especially for emergency service. They are my go to pluming/heating and I would recommend strongly to anyone.

Highly recommend Jason from Stephens plumbing. Our kitchen sink needed to be unclogged by using a power auger. We also needed a pipe replaced. The price was very reasonable.

Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. When calling Stephens, you can request the person you want.

I live in a 2nd floor condo. Leaks can really cause problems for the unit below to say nothing of strained relations.

Gas hot water heater started leaking, called Stephens at 10 a.m. and by 3 p.m. had a new heater installed.

Ryan and Kevin were very courteous, professional and cleaned up afterward. They even removed two mice, toy mice my cats managed to ""hide"" under the old heater.

I rate them a 5 star because everything with them was straight forward. I definitely recommend Stephens.
