Stephens Plumbing & Heating was professional from the first call to the completed project. Our A/C was on the fritz just as it started to broil. I called Stephens and the next morning, Oscar came out to do a simple repair. He identified the problem immediately and got our A/C up and working. Combining the Yelp voucher I purchased, the entire fix was only $50! I was so pleasantly surprised and relieved. I'll be calling Stephens in the future. Can't recommend more! Our repairman Oscar was very friendly and thorough as well.

I highly highly highly un-recommend this service for any plumbing issues.

I had them come out on Wednesday of last week to give me a quote (which I later found out to be extremely high) to fix a broken pipe under my house coming from the second story to the first story out to the main drain. The experienced plumber stated it would take a full crew a few hours and the service could be completed Friday. After getting off work at 7am after being up all night I came home to expect a plumbing crew who had not shown up. I received a call from the experienced plumber and he stated after further consideration that there would have to be some wet dirt/ mud removed by a professional company before they could do the work. Why didn't he mention that two days prior? He recommended a dry out company and said to call them. I called the company and they stated they could come over and do the work immediately (0930). I called Stevens and asked if they dried the dirt then and now if they could still do the repair today and the stated ""yes no problem we can be right over when they are done this afternoon"". I let the dry down company know they were good to go and that the $2500 dirt removal service Stevens had required was a go. Mid dry out service I received a phone call from Stevens starting ""sorry we mistakenly over booked and we can't do your repair until Tuesday of next week (4 days from now). With this $2500 wet dirt removal service they requested currently underway, what made them think waiting 4 additional days would be an option after a verbal agreement they would come immediately following the wet dirt removal?

I was extremely upset they did that to me while I had wet dirt actively being removed from underneath my house. The unapologetic man on the phone stated it was not his fault and that his Plummer was confused. I told him that's no way to do business and mess with The livelihood and finances of customers already facing financial strains during these times. They left me without a Plummer while wet dirt was being removed.

Thankfully the wet dirt crew knew a great Plummer who came and did Twice the work for %50 less than what they quoted me. They gave me a $1700 invoice for a $875 job.


All in all I was out over $4000.
I would never hire Stevens to replace a light bulb much less step foot in my house do do plumbing ever again. Very unprofessional plumber with zero people skills and no follow through. Lack of communication and follow through with terrible customer service from the clerical staff as well. And they over charge and bail on you last minute.

Be ware of Stevens.

Stephen the CEO of Stephens Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning reached out to me to get some details as to exactly what happened with the technician (Pancho). I appreciate the time he took to speak to me about it and it was concluded that the service and work was not communicated properly. The technician explained nothing to me and expected me to pay over $12k, so understandably I was upset. Stephen was very respectful and made it clear that it was not their intention to try and scam me. Thinking back to it, there was a language barrier since Pachno had a thick accent and did not speak english clearly. Stephen apologized and assured me that their intentions was never to cause me any inconvenience.

My AC went out at 7pm during recent heat advisory. I called at least 6 places listed as having 24 emergency services available. Stephens Plumbing were the only ones who said they could be there that night. I expected it would be a few hours but tech was at my house within an hour. He was professional, had appropriate PPE and engaged in his work. Based on my description over the phone he was fairly certain of the problem and fairly sure he'd have the part. It was what he thought and he had the part. He was finished within 30-40 minutes. It was worth every penny for the emergency service call which I might add I thought reasonably priced for emergency call.

Happy to see a business that's professional and has great customer service. They're now my plumber and HVAC company of choice.

First time calling this company for emergency service. Something inside my shower knob snapped and my water wouldn't shut off. They scheduled me for a service call around 11-2 or something and then a few hours later they called me saying that there's been a delay and they can't come until 2-4pm. Plumber arrived close to 4 and I asked him what was wrong. He literally looked for not even 15 seconds and said ""I don't know but you're looking at a $300-500 repair if it's an outside issue or $1200-1400 if I have to fix something inside the wall."" That is RIDICULOUS. He didn't even take anything apart to examine it, didn't spend more than 1 min to diagnose the issue fully. He just GLANCED at it. Barely touched it with his finger. How can you give me a quote that big when you don't even know what's wrong with it? And barely spent 1 min examining? This overall made me feel extremely uneasy.

Then he said he had to take all the parts with him and rebuild it at home and figure it out that way, then come back another day and rebuild it possibly with new parts and what not. I was panicking about my water leaking (which was leaking since 8 am when the damage happened until he arrived) and now he's telling me he can't fix it right away. At the most he capped it so that I can have ease of mind and water will stop leaking, but I can't use my shower until he comes back.

I agreed to the appointment because I felt very helpless and many plumbing companies close at 5 or 6 pm. It was also just before New Years and on a Friday so I know it'll be hard to book another appointment soon with someone else.

Anyways, my dad told me to cancel the appointment because the plumber was ripping me off and shouldn't have taken the parts with him in the first place. We ended up having to rebuy everything after I cancelled the appointment which added up to $100+ and called a different plumber. This plumber was able to fix it in two hours for $300 and explained what he thought the issue was after examining for at least 15 min, trouble shooting with me, and asking tons of questions.

Stephens plumbing, the plumber you sent to my house was named Galan and he is the worst plumber I have ever experienced. It made me very skeptical of the plumbing business over all. Will not be calling this company for help ever again.

I found Stephens Plumbing on Yelp after not being able to schedule my typical ""go-to"" plumber. I had a mystery leak in the toilet of one of my rental units. I messed with the supply line, the valve, etc but could not find the source of the water. Enter Galan from Stephens Plumbing. Galan showed up on time and quickly diagnosed that I had an almost invisible hairline crack in the tank that was leaking water. At this point my only real option was to replace the toilet which Galan expertly did. Galan was personable, patient and skilled - pretty much everything you can hope for in a service professional. And last but certainly not least - the pricing was extremely fair. I've got another ""go-to"" plumber.
