We had a unusual leak in our kitchen Monday and while I was able to shut the water off - I had no idea how to fix. I had no idea who to call. Stemler came very highly recommended from someone who's had a lot of experience with them. I'm so glad I called. I got to work with Gordon and he was very old-fashioned with great service. He shared wit and wisdom of what to expect and I feel like the cost was reasonable at 150 to replace whatever the piece was that they had to replace that had rotted. It was less than an hour and I had a full fix in my water is back on in my house and my sink was working perfectly.

I had stemler plumbing come out and do some work, there workers are friendly and knowledgeable and when I had a small issue mister stemler called me personally and fixed the issue. I'm pretty good with figuring out small plumbing problems in my house. but when I could not get the shower to stop leaking (old house) I was directed to Stemler plumbing in Jeffersonville. I walked in with the stem parts in hand and was immediately greeted by the owner. I told him where it was leaking and within 3 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, fixed the stem right on the counter, instructed me in how to install it, and only charged me $10!!. Thank you for your help, knowledge and service! So glad there are people like these guys still in business.

I have had plumbing maintenance insurance through American Water Resources for many years. Recently I had an issue with leaking water valves which actually had worried me for some time so for the first time I contacted ""American Water"" who in turn was quite attentive in their follow-up and eqaully so thorough in their follow through. They subsequently dispatched ""Stemler Plumbing"" in Jeffersonville, Indiana who was equally as attentive and proved to be a more than outstanding choice in Excellence! This was all a first for me. In fact, on the day of my scheduled service Owner Richard Stemler called me himself early that morning extremely customer friendly informing me that ""we are on our way"". I was so fortunate in that he sent his ""5 Star"" Plumbing Technician in ""Jay Hook"". This was especially a bonus in that again the plumbing issue I had was concerning and had worried me. Nonetheless, my experience with Jay Hook and Stemler Plumbing was nothing short of Incredible. Go American Water Resources as well! This experince was ""Service as it was meant to be"" which Stemler should consider this being their business positioning theme going forward as it is obviously already their business model today. On behalf of Stemler Plumbing, Jay Hook and Richard Stemler are professional, extremely conscientious, detailed, customer friendly, neat and all in all a step beyond thorough! Theresa and Irvin in the Office at the controls do a great job as well. This was the first time I have ever had Stemler to my home and I can tell you without a doubt that if and/or when I have a plumbing issue going forward and with or without insurance coverage my first call will be to Stemler Plumbing! Quality & Service...Absolutely incredible on all fronts. Finally, when you talk with Owner Richard Stemler and when you are genuinely concerned about what you think may be a challenging issue...ask him to send ""Jay Hook"" to the rescue! Jay is as Good as it Gets!

Used Stemler for a total kitchen renovation and to run a new gas line under my house. Stemler disconnected my old plumbing to get the renovation started. Once the new cabinets were installed they returned to install the new connections under the sink as well as install the new dishwasher. They also connected the new gas stove cooktop. In between both those events Stemler ran new gas service lines under my house and connected those lines to the gas meter bar outside. While they were here I had them install a new floor drain in my utility room.
I used Stemler based on some reviews as well as recommendations from friends.
I did experience a couple problems with part of the installations. However, when I called with my concerns, Stemler came right back as soon as possible and fixed all my concerns to my satisfaction.
Had I not had a couple installation problems, I would have given them 5 stars.
Stemler arrived on time each time they were scheduled.
I would use them again, and actually have, using them again this week to fix a severely leaking Roman Tub faucet.

It was a Friday and I had a leaky pipe. All the other plumbers I called couldn't fit me in until next Tuesday or Wednesday. Stemler was booked as well, but they offered to squeeze me in. They had the opportunity to ""lie"" and say it would have to be after hours (more $) because I needed them and they knew it. Troy my plumber was able to come during working hours and took care of the problems. Billing was 100% fair. He did a great job and I will definitely be using this company if I need a plumber!
