We put in a claim about our furnace. They contacted us rather quickly to schedule the appointment. They scheduled an appointment. No one ever showed up. When I called to question, I get told he was busy and couldn't make it today. This has happened numerous times, always stating he got busy and couldn't make it. It has been over a month since the initial contact and we have gotten no where, no service, no hot water. DO NOT COUNT ON STEININGER'S FOR YOUR PLUMBING NEEDS. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE.

NOT DEPENDABLE. I called to arrange for my water heater to be worked on but was told they did not service my area, it is only 32 miles away. I accepted their decision even thought the manufacturer specifically gave me their name as an authorized plumber in my area and the only option they gave. Later, I accidently called back by redialing a number in my phone and thinking it was another plumber. I spoke to another person and explained exactly where I was located. He then committed to coming out for the repair as I was not out in the country but on the edge of the city they service. Waited over the holiday weekend for their next time in my area. Then called to confirm time, the office manager said she would call me later with that. When I did not receive the call back as promised, I had to call her and she still did not have a time. At 4pm, that day and as she was leaving for the day I saw that I had a missed call from her and tried to immediately call back. But because she did this as she was walking out the door, it left me no opportunity to ask for the details & she left no message. I called back on the morning of our ""appointment"", and her reply was that he isn't going to come out, it is too far away. Very poor service, I would give 1/4 star if I could. They should have notified me as soon as possible so I could make other arrangements and now I've waited for more than a week with no hot water in the middle of a pandemic. No consideration for potential client situation.

Watch out for this company. They were hired by my home warranty company to assess my system . Initial analysis was incomplete which would up costing multiple visits. Multiple no shows on appointments. Now they falsified a report to the home company saying it is functional when it is not. They didn't want the work due to low pay from the warranty company. Thats fine but complete disregard to my situation as the customer. I will do what I can to spread the word to the public on this company !
