Used Statewide on numerous occasions. Used them for AC problems in my home, also drain cleaning in my inlaws home. Service on both occasions were great at reasonable pricing. They also dionosed and fixed a tub leak at my son's house. They have become our family plumber and HVAC people.
I also refer them to friends.

We have used Statewide for many issues in our house. We recently just had our motor in our boiler break, and they were able to replace it. They were fast and efficient to ensure we were up and running before the snow storm. Carlos and his team are very knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. We will always turn to Statewide first for any issues.

For some reason I was referred to this company from someone on Nextdoor. I needed snow guards on my roof and to check out a leak on another roof. He came out to take a look and told me it would be $250 for the 1st hour, then $150 for the second hour but was sure it wouldn't take more than an hour. He also said I would get an estimate emailed to me before they showed up. Didn't get the estimate. They showed up, put up the snow guards (2 on each side) which took 10 - 15 mins each side, then checked out the leak on the roof. Got a bill for $710. $500 was for labor 2x$250. Told him I have a security system and they were not there more than an hour then he told me there were 2 guys! He never told me it was $250 per guy. He could have sent another guy who wasn't busy so it would be $750 labor? So wrong.

I've been using statewide since I moved into my house. Two years ago they replaced a faulty thermostat. It stopped working. On Monday I called to schedule, they said earliest they could come was Thursday. Thursday I haven't heard anything from them. I call again. They say, oh, the front office didn't get it on the books. We'll come tomorrow. No apology. They arrive Friday afternoon. Tell me they need to replace my thermostat. Again, no accountability for the fact that the thermostat failed so quickly. And they want to sell me a highly marked up new cheap-ass thermostat. Maybe this is business as usual for plumbing and heating, but the disrespect is astounding. They charge a lot and provide lousy customer service.

Carlos and Ozzie showed up on time. They did not complain about the overhead heater. They helped me with the giant ladder that I couldn't maneuver very easily. When it came to the heater it took some persistent troubleshooting but they managed to work it out and got it running.
I'm happy to say I'm another satisfied customer and I highly recommend Statewide Plumbing and Heating.

Said they were coming between 8 and 12 in the morning. No one came and no one called. I called them and they were sending someone right away who did not show up for another 2 and a half hours with no phone call. Then they said they would get back to me with a price either that day or the next and they did not. I called and spoke to the owner who was very rude to me on the phone. Over talking me and telling me he didn't even want to do the work anymore. That is not how customers should be treated when you're running a customer service business.

I had to replace my water heater and a pipe was leaking. They showed up when they said they will. I was talking to my friend and she stated 2 weeks before she had to replace her water heater and fix a rusted pipe. They charged me $600 dollars more than my friend paid for the same job stay away from these crooks

A totally rip off company. Came for my steam boiler inspection. Extremely unprofessional and finding something new to repair every few minutes . Left the boiler not working in the end when I refused to pay for further repairs, in way worse condition than when he came in.

I called Statewide to service my heating unit that was giving me trouble. When the two men showed up they went out side, spent three minutes looking at it and told me I had to shut down my heating unit as there was a potential carbon monoxide leak. No explanation as to what the problem was or could it be repaired in the meantime. I proceeded to ask for a quote to install a new unit as they have done work at my condo complex for several other residents so I assumed they were fair. They quoted me $6800 for a new hvac unit! I laughed at them both and asked them if they were serious. They actually tried to explain to me that was an honest and fair price for a unit of this size in a condominium. Lie, lie, lie. The owner was supposed to call me back with a better offer that day. That never happened. I had the unit replaced by another hvac contractor for a third of the price and he was very informative and helpful.
I will tell EVERYONE I know that Statewide Plumbing and Heating will never give you a fair and reasonable price. They price gauge when they know they have you on the hook.
The owner must be reaping the benefits of his gauging on unsuspecting consumers. Horrible individual.
