We needed our sewer lateral fixed to be in compliance. I was referred to Star Rooter and Plumbing and Felix came out to perform the job. Felix was very professional and accommodating to our schedule. He stopped by late at night to do an estimate and early morning on a Sunday to help evaluate our plumbing situation. He was easily accessible by phone and the estimate price that came back was significantly cheaper than the other competitors. If you need anything done that involves plumbing, I would highly recommend using Star Rooter & Plumbing!

Above and beyond... called late on a Thursday eve (6:30pm?) and they answered the phone. And they made an appt for Noon the next day. Then they showed up early and began the work to unclog a pipe that another company failed (who shall remain nameless). They checked all the pipes (even under the house/crawl space) for leaks/issues and then solved after 3 tries... they did NOT give up and go home like the other guys. Oh, and no extra charge, just did as promised. ...Wow... I say stop looking and just call these folks ASAP.

Before the Thanksgiving I had a clog in my sewer line. Called other plumbing and had it cleaned out. Two weeks later it happen again and got charged again. So I ask them to run a camera and got charged again. They gave me a price to replace the line from my property to the city sewage main. I know it was too much that's why I asked my construction friend if they know anybody. And that's how I got to know Star Rooter. Fred came out and gave me a price I know it was a good deal. We agreed for Star rooter to do the job on Thursday, he got all the permits and marking on the street on Friday and Monday. Came out to do the job on Tuesday morning and finished in the late afternoon. These guys are good, fast and professionals. I will recommend Star Rooter to anyone that has plumbing needs.

We were referred to Fred by a friend after the water heater at my mom and dad's house in Campbell died on Christmas Eve morning. Felix arrived with a new water heater and had it installed within the hour. Friendly, professional service on a holiday Sunday no less. These guys are the real deal!

We had a plumbing emergency and they came to our house immediately. Luis spent several hours under our house because we could hear water running underneath our bathroom. Finding no leak nor water, he realized the leak was from the water meter to the house. He did a neat,
excellence job finding, repairing the leaking pipes, and replacing the lawn he had to disturb. I would call this company and Luis again and recommend them.

He worked well with the City of San Leandro (which is picky abut this work), was timely and did a quality job. He kept us informed along the way and stayed on schedule. I lost a ring down the drain. And called the plumber to have them fish it out. They came out the same day, and arrived earlier than planned. They gave me a call before they arrived.

Sadly my ring was not recoverable, but they were thorough and even did a Camera search to see if it was further down stream. And while they were here we had them fix a leak under the kitchen sink. They had to run to Home Depot nearby to get an additional supply, but they were prompt.

These guys are a life saver! As you can see at the date. This was right after the Thanksgiving weekend. I called them up Monday morning and Julio and his partner arrived at the time I scheduled the appointment. It was quick and painless and was done within the hour. My problem was resolved and my pipes are clean! Thanks guys! Definitely will use these guys again!

Unlike other contractors I've had the displeasure of dealing with, Star Rooter and Plumbing is....normal! And efficient, from my initial yelp quote request with Fredericko to their final exit out of my home. Eduardo, my tech, despite being very young, was respectful, communicative, personable, and was eager to do his job correctly. He remembered or referred back to the initial home visit, remembered my problem, and remembered my address. He called to inform me his last project needed to be finished and would be late--this is what healthy communication looks like. He carried himself with dignity and honor as opposed to other contractors. Additionally, there were no questions about my dating life, no requests to use my fridge, no taking work time to smoke cigarettes, no indication of drug/alcohol problems or personality disorders! As you can see I've dealt with a lot of losers. Eduardo gave me additional advice on my plumbing situation without trying to upsell me in any way. What sets them apart from the other companies is they didn't charge $125 to go in my crawl space. Eduardo, on his first visit, kicked off his cowboy boots and happily got under the house, giving me a diagnosis of the problem. Others tried to tell me what they thought the problem was by standing on ground level. Additionally, Eduardo didn't complain and honored my request to take a video of the leak in the crawl space for me to see. He gave me a verbal quote and when I thought he had already zoomed off in his truck, he knocked on my door and provided me with a written quote on company letterhead/paper, all the time never knowing if I'd commit to his company. At the final stage, he again took a video on his phone at my request of the new installation. He even took some baking soda I had into the crawl space to sprinkle under the house to combat the nasty smell/moisture to make me feel better. He respected my home--inside, he walked around with only socks on. He cleaned up as much as he could within reason. I'll be calling them again for my next plumbing project!

Had clogged toilets and called early this morning and Erica was wonderful to set me up with a 1:00 pm appointment. Joe and Chris arrived early to my surprise and were very professional, likable and informative. They even used shoe covers when entering the house. They were able to clear the line and used a camera so we could view the reason for obstruction in the pipes. They made recommendations to my brother on the needed repairs which he will do himself. Reasonable cost for such short notice and cleaned up everything timely after the job. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call them again if needed. One happy customer.
