Luis and his team spent all day here yesterday working on plumbing issues. I never met a more quiet and respectful team. I experienced Luis as professional, attentive, patient, agreeable and thoughtful. They did an extensive job, worked hard all day, as far as I could tell, and half the time I hardly knew anybody was here. As far as the result of the plumbing repairs I'm sure they'll be OK as I can't speak to that so soon. Luis did explain a lot of what was going on, and as much as I could take in, and seemed to want to keep me in the loop. My regular plumber, who does more minor work, referred this company to me and I thanked him for the referral. It also helped me to choose this company after reading the reviews here on yelp. We were very pleased with Andy and all the guys that helped him at Star Rooter & Plumbing . They came out very quickly last Sunday when our bathtub was running slow and the washer was backing up . They spent over who hours cleaning out the drains . Then they put a camera in the pipe and saw they needed to be replaced. They set up a time to come the following Monday . They came right on time and we're ready to work. They were very professional and fast. They had to dig up a portion of the street and they had cones and signs for the traffic. They were pretty quite and they put back the dirt and fixed the road just the way it was. They cleaned up very well. The inspectors told us they are very pleased with their work also. I highly recommend Star Rooter for all your plumbing needs.

Had Star install a new outdoor hose bib. They did the work promptly and did a great job! Very reasonable price. With this second great job for me, they have now risen to the top of my list for drains and plumbing.

I called them Saturday morning before 9 am and a woman answered the phone already. She said that someone could come to check my clogged kitchen sink around 2 pm, but a little while later Andy Ortiz (510-915-9556) called to say that he could be at my place in 45 minutes. So, he arrived at my place with another guy and told me that it would cost me some $125 to get the drain fixed.

He said that sometimes it goes quick, and sometimes its difficult and that for $125 they will get the job done. I agreed. They tried several times to snake it out from under the kitchen sink, but it did not work. They then thought the blockage was not just in the drain pipe behind the wall, but in the pipe deep in crawl space under the garage on the ground floor.

They got in there, found a weird Y joint that the snake could not traverse coming from under the kitchen sink, cut the pipe open, put their snake machine to work and fixed the blockage. Took them one hour and a half. The kitchen sink works again!

Very fast service even in the night. The plumber was great. He unclogged my kitchen sink in minutes. Definitely knew what he was doing. Saved me a lot of problems. Definitely recommend. Not only that but he cleaned everything too.

Called Start rooter this week for a leaking kitchen pipe. They came in one hour and fixed the issue right away. Did a good job but I think it was a bit pricey for 20 minutes of work but overall happy with the customer service and job.

After some recent renovation in my home, found out that some of the old galvanized pipes were leaking. Saw there ad in the yellow pages and gave them a call, they were here before scheduled time. Gave a free estimate. The scheduled day for the pipes to be changed, they had crew ready to work and on time. They did a great job, I would recommend them.

I am not one that writes reviews as I generally give word of mouth. I felt I needed to pass along my experience with Star Rooter and Plumbing San Lorenzo , CA . I called for service on Saturday 10/08/16. Promptly I received a call from lead plumber to ask what was needed and to identify who he was and arrival time. Julio Solis was lead and had one coworker with him. They were professional , courteous and clear on what they felt needed to be done. There were a couple of issues needing to be fixed including replacing junction of main line to house and install a clean-out. Fast , concise and thorough. Price quote and final were more than reasonable.Never at any point did I feel a upsell was attempted or suggested. In my opinion work performed was what was needed and everything done was available for inspection. For my money it could not have been done any better. I am just a ordinary Moe but do have quite a few life experiences involving repair work for various things. . Comes with age :-). In my humble opinion Julio and his team are highly recommended from my experience. They were everything I could have hoped for in hiring out to do work on my home. Outstanding service. By the way. Luis serviced our water heater and repaired our shower which had a frozen valve. He did an excellent job and was very professional, and we would gladly ask for him again for any of our plumbing needs.
