I posted the request to repair or replace my water pressure valve which was reading 100 psi. He responded very quickly along with one other plumber. The quotes were very close so I knew they were fair. Star was in Fremont so the response time was very quick. I had another job so I combined the two and got what I think was a fair price. He worked on both jobs and completed them the same afternoon. I am very satisfied with both jobs and happy they were completed in a very timely manner.

I had a bathtub that was clogged and not draining. I sent a request out on Yelp and Will from Star Plumbing called me within 10 minutes. I was able to set up an appointment with him the same day. Great response and service from Will. Got a quote to replace a water heater from Will over the phone when called, and he agreed to match a price from another quote. He also was able to schedule the replacement the same day at a rental house and worked around the tenant's availability. He also extended great trust in invoicing my property management company rather than taking a credit card over the phone. Tenant was pleased with the service provided by Will, and having a new water heater installed. Would use Star Plumbing and Will in the future. I recommend this company

Shower, toilet and sink were backed up. Guys were able to quickly get to my place (same day) and clear pipe to main line from roof for fair price while other standard charge drain cleaners would not get on roof.

We dodged a bullet. We were quoted $11K by Star to reroute all of our water piping because we found a small leak in the garage. It turned out to be caused by a hole that connected to the water heater. The condensation from the HVAC ate through the copper pipe because this type of water is very acidic.

So, because the estimate was so high (and became higher) we got second and third opinions from other plumbers. None of them told us to reroute the piping. The plumber we went with fixed the leak for around $300. He showed us the hole in the copper pipe.

If we had moved forward, it would have been disastrous with busted drywalls and $11K in plumbing fees plus a day of disruption... and we would still experience leaks... because the water pipes were not the issue! They didn't bother to look for the source of the leak and just presented us with the worst-case scenario.

Lesson learned: Always get other bids and opinions because not all service companies will look out for your best interest.

Fantastic experience with Star Plumbing and Will. He came out for a free consultation for our water heater that occasionally has a screeching noise when heating water. Will helped us diagnose that it's not an issue give how new it is and we should just consider flushing it on a regular basis. He was very professional, courteous, and prompt in communicating.
