I called last Thurs about replacing my Sump Pump. Mark got back to me within an hour, described the process, cost, and offered me an early moring appt 5 days later. Said he had two big jobs but could fit my pump install in. Jason was here on time, did the work, and presented a bill that echoed his bosses estimate. They are on time, eager to do the work, professional and top my list on plumbing issues. They should be your go-to guys too.

Mark has been working with us for several years now. He's replaced a garbage disposal, fixed commodes and other routine plumbing, thus far. Today, I left a message for him, and he called me back very quickly. I wanted to make an appointment for him to handle a situation he felt was better handled by someone else. He referred me to an expert in the field who will probably charge us less, than I would have expected him to have charged us. I also asked him about replacing a kitchen faucet and he shared several pointers to help make the job go more easily and less expensively when he comes to install it. In the Spring of 2023, my outdoor spigot broke, along with the copper feed. It was complicated accessing the pipe inside the wall. Jon got creative and was able to replace the the broken copper water line and installed a new faucet. Typical service charge, reasonable labor cost. Way beyond my limited DIY skills.

My 83 year old mom called me to tell me that ""water was pouring out of her ice maker."" She lives in Springfield, and I live about 45 minutes away. Anyway, I was referred to Star Plumbing by a friend, for which I am VERY grateful! I called them and they answered right away, and after I explained the situation, they assured me that they would have somebody take care of it right away. Within minutes, I received a call from Mark, who explained that the issue was probably not plumbing related, but regardless, he would check it out and do what he could to at least stop the flow of water to the fridge, while ensuring that that she still had water to the rest of the house. Mark got to my mom's house within the hour (AMAZING!!), and was able to locate and close the shut off valve to the fridge to stop the flooding. Because the valve was difficult to access, Mark extended and replaced it, so that it will be much easier to access in the future. Bottom line, Star Plumbing/Mark went above and beyond to respond to this urgent situation, and the cost was reasonable. I can't recommend them highly enough!!!
