I truly wish I could give this gentleman zero stars. I do not write reviews, however am hoping that I can save someone from a potential disaster by using All Star Plumbing and Drain. They were assigned to us initially back in September by our Home Warranty Company for a leak in our utility room that was apparently coming from upstairs. He was nasty and quite curt from the onset. He told us that not only will we be paying him the deductible for the warranty company but that i would need to pay him an additional $95 for him to cut into my ceiling to get to the pipe, clean up the debris but NOT replace the drywall he cut. Not sure how you come into my home, cut up my ceiling and not replace the drywall or even offer me the name of someone who could assist. He knew no one in his words. At that point, we decided to leave the ceiling open so if we ever had this issue again, no one would need to cut into our ceiling again. Well today comes and we go into the utility room and see mold and a dripping ceiling in the area that he ""claimed"" he replaced. We reached out to the home warranty company to have them set it up as a recall to determine if this is the same issue or a new one and they create the claim and give us his information to contact him again. I have reached out to him today regarding the recall and his exact words were, ""Tell them to get someone else. I am not available."" Just like that. This is YOUR recall and your response is for us to tell our home warranty company to get someone else because you don't want to be bothered? Wow...Run the other way if you need plumbing assistance.

$6k to dig 60ft trench with drain, supply, and electric conduit, finished in 2 days. Expensive, but lower than other quotes, and quick! MD master plumber, MHIC licenses.

I located Star Plumbing from doing a search on my phone. He came out the same night and fixed my leaking toilet and repaired my stackable washer and dryer. Keep in mind this was an apartment and the maintenance team just wasn't coming. His bill was reasonable and he was able to give me 2 receipts, one for my request and the other so I could get reimbursed by management. I've since refereed him to a colleague who agreed that he provides a swift and diligent service. He is a good plumber and will not waste your time.

I called Star Plumbing & Drain to repair a leaky shower head andto give me an estimate to install a toilet in an addition to my house. After taking a look at the leaky shower head, he gave me an estimate of $300. Akeem, the plumber, said this could take an hour to repair and includes materials. I said that was a very high estimate. He then came down to $250. Since the leaky shower head was for a tenant in the house, I needed to fix it immediately. So I agreed. After only 15 minutes work and changing one minor piece that could be found in Lowes or Home Depot for $20, he completed the job. $250 for 15 mins. of work. Needles to say, he charges exorbitantly for his work.

When asked for an estimate to install a toilet in the addition, he balked and just said it will be very difficult and didn't even want to give an estimate. Based on his attitude, it was noticeable that he didn't care and just wanted to leave, so he gave a very high estimate of $6,500 just to connect piping to the addition. Needless to say, I will not be calling upon him anymore.

I am a realtor and real estate investor and have worked with Mr Ani for several years on both my personal properties and client properties. Whether it is a quick fix or a more involved project, Mr Ani has always delivered exceptional service at a fair price. He is extremely responsive and is willing to work around our schedule. I typically do not go through the trouble of writing reviews, but after reading several negative reviews which seemed uniformed or simply due to personality clashes, I felt compelled to add my praise for Mr Ani and can attest to the quality of workmanship he delivers. He will not pamper you but he will get the job done right, on time and typically at a price better than the mega shops.

This company is unprofessional, both on the phone and in person. I called to see if Star performed repairs on French drains and was told ""yes"" on the phone. Yet, when the technician came by the next day, he insisted he could only replace the drain with a pipe to the sump pipe rather than perform a repair. In fact, he both laughed at and seemed confused that the pipe in the drain did not lead to the sump pipe, leading me to believe that he doesn't even know what a French drain is or understand how it operates. He still charged me $75 for the useless visit, which is ridiculous.

Tremendously unprofessional business. The organization charges $100 to simply assess and to give a quote for plumbing services. Not only do they charge for an initial assessment there also unwilling to work with potential clients. I spoke with the owner of this company and gave them five verbal opportunities to simply look at my plumbing issue, the owners and for me not only were they not concerned with online reviews or how I feel about their business policies. The owner went on to speak with me very aggressively and walked away from our conversation. His associate was very quiet and seem to be following his bosses instructions. There are other companies highly rated. Please use them. This company is the worst. Save yourself some time and money!

On Sunday, I found a large puddle of water on the kitchen floor coming from the under sink cabinet. I also had a pre-existing small leak from the PVC pipe leading to the main drain under a connecting cabinet. Monday, Mr. Ani, arrived at the scheduled time. He repaired the cracked drain pipe and replaced the worn out faucet. He fixed a leaking seal in the bathroom sink, too.

Additionally, I asked him for an estimate to fix bathtub faucets that only had a slow drip of water when turned on and hadn't worked in years. I suspected this was a difficult repair since 2 previous plumbers had only made it worse. Mr. Ani investigated, told me it would take a couple hours to repair and gave me an extremely reasonable price. This was a very complicated repair which involved replacing the cast iron valve system in the wall.

I am delighted with the work performed by Mr. Ani. He has a pleasing personality, works efficiently and left everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend him. Thank you Mr. Ani for making this a pleasing experience.
