Great job Star Plumbing! I needed a water heater replaced and called Star Plumbing, along with several other companies. After talking with Mark, I decided to have Star Plumbing do the replacement. Mark answered all of my questions and did not try to up-sell anything. Also, his price was one of the lowest quoted. The company arrived on time and went right to work. At my request, they were also able to install a new pressure relief valve at the same time. Mark and John were very professional and completed the jobs in about two hours. I would definitely use Star Plumbing again.

Three weeks ago discovered our water heater leaking. It was 29 years old - yes we got our money's worth! I checked Nextdoor and several neighbors recommended Star Plumbing. I gave them a call and spoke to Mark. I gave him the size of my current water heater (65 Gal) which is no longer made and he asked some questions to assess water usage in the home. He quoted the price to replace with a 50 or 75 Gal tank and it was the brand that we wanted. Most other company's wanted to come to the home to give estimates. One company referred by Home Advisor, quoted more than double Stars price (maybe they thought I was stupid). When all was said and done Star was the most competitive and their reviews clearly indicated they are water heater specialist. We scheduled the job and Jason arrived on time to complete the install. Before leaving he explained everything that was done to include adjusting the water pressure and replacing the water valve for my refrigerator. Why is this important? For the first time since remodeling my kitchen, several years ago, my refrigerator is dispensing water properly and making full sized ice cubes!!! I previously thought the anemic water stream was a design flaw with the appliance. I am so happy with the total outcome of this service from Star Plumbing!!! I highly recommend them for their punctuality, pricing which was not a penny more than quoted, and for improving the water pressure throughout our home. I couldn't be happier!! Mark is our go-to plumber. He came to do some work in our townhouse years ago, and per his recommendation, we hired him back to install a pressure-regulating valve, which he did professionally and for an excellent price. When our water heater started leaking into our family room on a Saturday afternoon, the big-box hardware store told us they could get someone out there on Monday; Mark showed up first thing Sunday morning, installed a better product for less money, didn't upcharge us for coming on a weekend, and was done so quickly we even made it to church on time. He is an excellent plumber who will only do the work you actually need, and do it for a fair price.

I read all the great reviews for this company so I had high hopes of good service. I asked them to diagnose and find the source of a minor leak. While on the service call I pointed out three jobs I needed done (replacing a shower/tub faucet, and replacing a water supply valve and an outside spigot). The plumber discussed with me, took photos and promised to provide an estimate. I did not receive an estimate for a week so I called for status and left a message with the person who answered. Still nothing. Several more weeks went by. I called for status again and left a message with a company rep again inquiring about when I might receive the estimate. Another week has gone by with no response from Star Plumbing. So I am giving up.

Very disappointed in this company -- I don't know what's going on with them but my advice is -- don't waste your time with them. If my three jobs were too small to warrant their time fine -- at least have the decency to tell me so instead of wasting my time. How dishonest and unprofessional!

I was referred to Star Plumbing by a realtor friend of mind Joan Lovett about 4 years ago. Mark and his crew are the most honest plumbers I have ever dealt with. They do excellent work at decent prices and do not try to rip you off. In fact, one time I bought a whole new shower faucet and handle set and Mark fixed the broken handle and had me take the set back to Home Depot. Best plumbers ever! Six stars.

This plumber was recommended to me by a friend, so I did not bother to check reviews. Turns out it wasn't necessary anyway. Asked them to replace two bathroom faucets. GREAT service, FAST service, and VERY REASONABLE pricing. Can't say enough good things about the company and about John, who was the service rep who did the job. All around excellent! On my permanent list!

OUTSTANDING service!!! So much to say. Water heater broke and we felt it was an emergency. We called Star Plumbing on a Friday night and they responded right away, took our information down, apologized that we were having to go thru such an event late in the day and promised to have a tech call us soon, same day. John called back no more than 10min later. Asked my husband questions about our water heater and asked my husband some questions about the size of the heater, etc. He scheduled the repair/replacement for the next day. He arrived on time and greeted both of us with a handshake. He was so very pleasant. He laid down cloths to prevent water or dirts from damaging the carpet. He was knowledgeable, polite, and was able to answer all our questions. It was such a wonderful experience. Feeling thankful, grateful, and so happy that we received Star Plumbing as a recommendation from neighbors. I now see why the company is highly rated. Thanks to John, again. You are super dedicated and kind!
