Agree with Dat's review, Jason at Star Plumbing is the best! He saved what could have been a catastropic situation because another contractor was waiting to complete a dry wall job. Called Star and they immediately sent Jason after I explained the situation.

He replaced the water valve shutoff for both the internal water and external water above our secruity system box. Also replaced the external water spigot to the outside. He had to cut the drywall, did a clean job and completed the job quickly so the other contractor could complete their work.

Since we have found Jason he has done all the plumbing in the house such as replacing the ice maker pipe, shut off valves to the kitchen sink and washing machine and the hot water heater.
Honest, efficient, good prices and an all around nice guy!

We have used star plumbing for many years. They have fixed our main water shut off,put shut off valves on our outside faucets,put in new faucets in our bathrooms and showers. They are always prompt, courteous and very efficient. They clean up after each job. I highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs.

Only used once, but would call again. They were recommended by another plumber also rated highly on Checkbook.org that was booked through the next couple weeks. Jason at star plumbing just installed a new gas water heater. Price was good. No hidden charges. Truck showed up right on schedule and work was done quickly and confidently.
My only knock would be there was only 1 model of water heater available and it has a low efficiency rating.
Everything else was A+ top notch!

Our hot water heater failed soon after we moved into our new house. I called Star Plumbing, mostly because their sticker was on the tank of our old hot water heater (which was 16 years old). They were on time, and replaced our tank for the quoted amount. Really nice guy too.

Our water heater was 17 years old, so I decided to be proactive and replace it before it failed. Since it wasn't an emergency, I called around to find the best price. Star was hundreds of dollars less than others I spoke with for a comparable (or same) brand and warranty period. Mark gave me his cell phone number to call when I made my decision. He scheduled the appointment within a few days, had his crew arrive when promised, and we didn't even discuss the bill; the price was exactly as promised. I would definitely recommend them.

A leak from the hot water heater in the furnance room caused a bit of a flood in our basement. I called Star Plumbing and explained my situation. The person who answer the phone said that someone would contact me shortly and should be able to come pretty soon that day.

Someone called about 10 minutes later. He explanied to me clearly how they charge and what I can expect. He showed up, fixed the problem, charged us their VERY reasonable minmum fee within 90 minutes after I discovered the problem!

Our last plumber tried to fix a similar leak problem. He charged us $350 the first time. It leaked again the 2nd day. He charged us another $250 again to fix what he DIDN'T fix.

Star Plumbing is outstanding. Transparent about their fees, no nonsense, reliable and very prompt. I heard a lot of good things from a friend about them and this is the first time that we use them. I don't think that I need to look for another plumbing service again!
