Stanton Plumbing installed a recirculator--basically a small pump that keeps hot water circulating so that when you turn on a spigot there it takes very little time for hot water to be available. Because our bathrooms and the water heater are on opposite sides of the house it could take 30-60 seconds for hot water to appear at the tap. Now it takes 1-2 seconds.

He also replaced a deteriorating cast iron waste line with a larger diameter PVC.

I have a ranch style home so to install all of this requires navigating a very shallow crawlspace. I recently climbed under there myself to run some electrical wiring and it was extremely taxing and made more difficult by the many pieces of broken concrete that were left behind when the house was built 50 years ago.

This work was done about a year ago and all is well.

Prompt and excellent communication. The cost seemed commensurate with the task. Stanton will do any future work on my house.

I was trying to repair two leaking supply lines under our bathroom sink when I learned that I needed a special tool (and more expertise). After visiting Ace Hardware, I learned that it would require about one hour of labor for an experienced plumber. Another plumber came out and gave me an outrageous quote for the repairs. Stanton quickly returned my call, helped me understand the repair work I needed, confirmed my labor estimate, and quoted me a reasonable hourly rate. He also offered to come out after hours if I could not reconnect our water. Unfortunately, he was fully booked the next two days and I could not wait. I am writing this review because Stanton quoted reasonable rates and assisted me even when they were not getting the job. I will keep their phone number for next time.

We called Stanton Plumbing after receiving a ridiculous quote from another plumbing company. Patrick was prompt and courteous. He assessed our situation and gave us a very reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done. When he returned to do the work, he was again prompt, courteous and left the area just as clean as he found it.

We will definitely call Stanton Plumbing when another plumbing issue arises. You should, too - you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Gotta yelp about this guy, he's been terrific! A tenant called me at 7am Monday with a broken water heater - I really didn't expect an answer when I called Patrick's number five minutes later, but not only did he answer, he was on-site within an hour!
Patrick Stanton may not be the cheapest plumber out there, but his work and his ethics are beyond reproach.

Patrick Stanton is an amazingly good plumber! He is smart, skillful, careful, and efficient. That keeps the costs reasonable as well. He is very experienced and can be trusted to do exactly what is needed (not more or less) and will clearly explain the problem and the solution. He is equally competent doing heavy-duty jobs (replacing water heaters, pressure regulator valves, recirculating pumps, re-piping) and doing specialized jobs requiring finesse such as repairing or installing Grohe European faucets.

He has done all of the above and more for my family at 4 different residences. We couldn't be happier with his work. After some bad experiences in the past with other plumbers, it is a huge relief to me to finally have a great plumber to call if I need one. On a personal level, Patrick also happens to be polite, conscientious, and enthusiastic about his work. What more could you ask for?
