Stanley C Bierly's was established by Stanley C Bierly Sr, who began by installing and repairing radios and televisions, however due to customer demand, he broadened his services to include heating, plumbing, and electrical work. The business was handed over in 1975 to S. Curtis Bierly Jr., who succeeded him, and now his son, Stanley C Bierly III, has joined is part of the operations. The company features both traditional and alternative heating systems ranging from solar hot water systems, geothermal heat pumps, and air-to-air systems and elegant high-efficiency wood stoves.

Holding a degree in Penn State University in Mechanical Engineering, my passion for heating and air conditioning started with the first energy crisis in the late 1970s. Bierly converted the resulting HVAC mess into a solid and energy efficient muti-zone cooling and heating system using Mitsubishi equipment. The Bierly crew evaluated our home's needs and did a first-class job installing the new system and making sure it works properly. We can't believe how quiet this system is. Everyone at Bierly is smart, courteous, and they know what they are doing. Start to finish this was a 5+ job from Bierly.
George H.The company installed my gas line from the meter and through the house to the furnace room. The pipe installation was complicated, but they were able to come up with innovative solutions. They then installed my new gas heating system as I switched from oil. They assisted in selecting the new equipment which so far is proving to be outstanding and economical. Their knowledge of potential equipment assisted in selecting the appropriate equipment. All of the work was extremely professional. I cannot express how neat and almost artistic their work was. The soldering and pipe arrangements are a work of art! The arrangement of the equipment is very space efficient. The installers were neat, clean and workmanlike and extremely conscientious. They were helpful and aware of problems and providing solutions in advance during the winter installation! This review seems too good to be true, but the job was better than I could have hoped.
