I would definitely NOT consider these plumbers! They hooked up our sewer lines wrong! Didn't check the work of his unlicensed workers, a toilet was set wrong, way too many trips to town for parts than time spent on the job, and our sink leaked from day one. We had to call in another plumber to redo everything!!! They Do Not stand by their work!!!

Called standard plumbing in hertford to remove a tank style water heater and replace it with a tankless heater which I supplied. New unit to go in same location. after 4 trips and a hole through my garage ceiling which they repaired and a $956.00 bill they completed the job. Within an hour after completion it leaked. It was repaired the following day after leaking all night, said it would have to be looked at the next day, a few days later another leak appeared in the hot water line in the same area as the heater. Paid a different company to repair it

I tried every plumber in town before I called them because other peoples reviews scared me, but no plumber would come out-- some didn't answer, some didn't call back, some were on vacation, and one said they were only taking existing clients. Finally called standard plumbing and they came right out and fixed my problem in under an hour for a very fair price. I should have called them first!

I had Standard Plumbing to come out and unstop a drain line for me. The plumber told me that my line needed to be replumbed or it would stop up again. He said he would have his boss come out and give me an estimate for rerouting the line.

I called at least 6 times over a 3 week period to schedule them to come and give me an estimate. After about 4 weeks they sent a guy out to look at it. He left without saying a word and would not answer my calls.

Approximately 6 weeks after the original call the line stopped up again. I called them again to unstop the line and I told them that I wouldn't be paying for the work because they never got back to me to replumb the line.

The owner immediately called me back with a very high estimate to do the work and asked me if I wanted them to do the work. Said he didn't have anyone available to unstop my line today, but they could replumb the line today for the HIGH PRICE. I told him to just unstop my line for free and I will review the estimate and get back to him.

The plumber came and unstopped my line that day. He didn't clean up anything after himself and left sewage on the floors and lower walls of my laundry room. NEVER AGAIN!

I got the replumbing work done by another licensed plumber for less than half of Standard's quote.

I Called standard plumbing for a faucet leak after I had a bad experience with a prior plumber. Needless to say I didnt have a good experience with the either. They jacked my handle up on my shower had to come to my house twice we're nice at first then something changed they were very ugly and slammed my door everytime they went in or out. Still had to have another plumber come! after it was all done guess 3rd time is a charm cause it's all fixed no thanks to the prior 2 plumbers! Standard plumbing won't be getting my business again and will have to contact me in reference to the 200$ bill I was sent in the mail

Had a clogged sink since we bought the house, and finally broke down and called the plumber. We called Friday and had a gentleman come out Monday morning. Very quick, efficient, professional and friendly!!! I would highly recommend this company- ask for Nigel if you can!! He's the best!

Twice I called Standard plumbing. And the same guy showed each time. First time the guy who drain our septic tank said we had a toilet running. So I replaced it. Still running water. So I called Standard Plumbing. Come to find out one of the septic tank guy left a sink turned on in the other bath room. Cost me a $100.00 For a Standard Plumbing plumber to tell me this. You live and learn. Yesterday a pipe broke. Called Standard Plumbing. You get all these question about is it under the house. I said no right here at the edge. Same guy who came out the last time who had it set in his mind. He was not going to do more work than he had to. We have a rouge line meaning it is pvc while the other was pvcc. They don't play well with each other. I wanted that line removed up to the point to where it turned into pvcc again. And suggested this to him nope what I got was 6 fitting job that looks like a child did it. Instead of only 3 fittings. Plus have to be careful around them. The plumber said. I was used as a goffer while he laid on a plastic asking me if I would get him this and that. 15 min of work with me doing half of it. $179.00. Knowing come winter I am going to have the same problem because of the way it is hooked up. So if you want a job that looks like a pro did it don't call Standard Plumbing.
